Kronoh i vaguely remember you i think we met a very very long time ago when you were a newbie in North or south gustaberg. ^^ and hey i need to do mission 3.3 bastok as well, but it doesnt really matter what country your from for mission 3.3 since every country needs to go to the same place for it. So if you get some people and need me to come along feel free to send me a /tell or email me. :)
Oh I need to do mission 3.3 as well just got it today.
So, I've recently tried getting into synthing while waiting for a friend to catch up to me in level. The blacksmithing wasn't so bad, if not for the soot. I would see my skill rising 0.2, 0.1, 0, 0, 0, 0.1. Then I figure hey, I should get into cooking too. Without going to Windy and joining the guild or whatever, I start cooking up some carrot broth. My first attempt, "You create 4 jugs of carrot broth". Cool! And lookit, my skill rises 0.1! So I go and cook some more...
You failed. Lost the Water Crystal you was using and 1 carrot.
Try again...
You failed. Lost the Water Crystal you was using and 2 carrot.

You failed. Lost the Water Crystal you was using and all the carrots in your inventory as well as the rest of your water crystal supply. Heck, you suck so bad you also lost the Earth and Fire Crystals you were saving up AND the millicorn you was about to take to Selbina.
With that, I bought a bronze axe and sword and decided to go to La Theine to skill up instead. x_x

if you guys are doing 3-3, at least have 2 members that has a map of the tower... place is long and if you are in your 30's while doing this you will get aggro all over the place.
btw... anyone up for mission 4-1 to 4-3? I want that damn airship pass bad T_T

hehe actually the other day my LS mates were tired of seeing me at rank 3 and got me rank 4 and 5 in one day ^^ so now i can use the airships yay ^^

hehe thanks ^^ now i just need to get a job to lvl 50 lol. So far i have a 42 thf and a 36 almost 37 smn. (these are not all of my job lvls i lvl just about every job lol) and who here's excited about CoP! it's soo close :)

Hey Kloe, have you seen my partner in crime lately?
yea he still posts on my LS site, he had to leave the game for a little while, becuase his credit card was stolen!!!!! his ffxi account was shut down because he had to freeze his credit card, so he is trying to sort it all out and then he will be back. i miss him too :( he was a great kitty, always helpful and nice.

hehe good luck on you're RSE :) so far I have 3/4 pieces, the next time is tommorrow but I think I'll be gone all day :( hopefully i'll be back in time for it at night. Hey have any of you ever sat around an actual campfire in the game? it's quite fun when you get a few random poeple to come sit with you. Too bad night time doesn't last that long in this game :(.

have a safe journey ^^, watch out for the raiders on the main roads, they've been getting worse lately. The other day I had to fight off a few that jumped me from behind. O.O
actually yeah one time i did sit by a fire waiting for a pt and a few ppl sat down and we laughed and talked a bit. But thats a good idea. Maybe I'll have a campfire ls event. LOL.

As a matter of fact, I did earlier this week. No random person came by and hung out, but that was cool. I was kicking back in West Ronfaure. Seeing the moon just a little bit hidden by the trees was really nice (Only thing that ruined it a bit was the Orc pops, bleah).
Then daylight came and I kicked it by Knightswell. A taru waddled near me and was staring at me for a bit. I said hi but he just rested for a little while and ran off.
The next day I was heading to Dunes for a party and saw a hume male chilling by the same campfire I hung out at the previous day.
I also recently made my first trek ever to Gustaberg. Gotta say I love the Drakenfall (or is it Darkenfall... whatever) at night.
I would've made my way to Bastok city but didn't want to go wandering through Dangruff Wadi alone... might never find my way out (no map).

Oh yeah, this newb saw the rainbow in La Theine, finally! ^^ Speaking of La Theine, there's a niche in the mountains near the Ephermal or whatever it's called, the lake near the ramp to go to Ordelle Caves. Anyway, in the niche, there's like a stonehendge setup going on and a ??? that when activated just says you feel a strange power or something. I went there again the other night to chill and saw ghosts. I guess I could've taken them, but not without the high risk of dying. I just want to know what that place is.

yep that's the place you take the carby ruby when you get all the colors for it. hehe sounds like you had some relaxing journeys. I think that there will be more people willing to just sit around and talk and stuff when they all get tired of the lvl grind and when they complete a lot of the quests. Every once in awhile I stop and relax a little so I don't get bogged down too much with lvling or farming. It's important to take breaks with this game or you will end up quitting ;P

Whoo got my PLD to 28 today ^^ although it made me very, very tired, I felt proud when I leveled XD Whee new shield for me! Instead of leveling I'll have to fish for some vitality rings *shudder*

anyone still willing to help out a 31 Hume WAR with getting rank 5? we just have to go to Davoi, then Castle Oztroja... then go to Beadeaux and kill Quadavs... >.>

I had some fun today just taking a break from the normal questing or leveling or farming. I took a nice stroll to the maze to help a friend get 700 xp to level.
Then I continued further into the maze and fought some scorpions and goblins.
I ended up slipping on a wet slope and ended up at the bottom and couldn't get back up. I found a rear exit into burimo and continued to push my clay onto the monument and took the ship to return it to the mayor.
I then proceded to Sandy and meet up with my newest LS member. I then proceded to windy and killed a few tough monsters with my level 7 summoner.
And that concludes my nite. Now time to sit back and relax by the fire again. ^^

hey arcos static parties dont really have a usual lvl you can start one at any lvl, just have to find poeple around the lvl :P
