i was lucky i met him way back when we were both newbies so he was never reall rude to me. He's a really nice guy once you get to know him, just if he doesn't like something about you, he doesn't like you lol. Also im sure all that power has gone to his head a little, since he got to lvl 75 drk recently :P

Casually sits down by the fire, and cracks open a new beer. Thinks to himself, hmmm, is Shiva now a better place?. Wonders if anyone has seen the likes of Bobbyjai, pimpsuitt, or Cuno after the emigration. Also wonders who will be next to claim thier fame. Lays down and goes to sleep.

Man... this is rough... I just got to jeuno this week, and i'll be hanged if Qufim Island isn't a deathtrap for lvl 20 people... I was in 3 ptys there and all three got our ***** handed to us... EVERYTHING checks IT, and half of it aggros... >_<
SO, i've gone back to Dunes, trygin to get to like 22-23 before hitting qufim... thign is, everyone leaves dunes at 20!

is there anywhere in between?

*Groans and goes to polish my Fire Sword* well, hope this weekend goes better...

eww that sucks :( yea you don't want to be in the dunes at lvl 20 or higher. in qufim you want to fight worms at the small lake, until about lvl 22-23. then after that you will be fine with figting just about anything there except for the undead.

okay, this question probably belongs elsewhere, but i figured i'd ask here, since it's in lien with Kloe's anser to my last post... where in thunder do i get a map of Qufim??
#157 Oct 13 2004 at 7:25 AM Rating: Decent
From Promurouve in the Chamber of Commerce, across from the Lower Jeuno AH. I would suggest buying every map he has if you have the money. If you don't, get your Qufim map and most definitely the Elshimo region maps, as these are for Kazham and the two jungles, making them top priority.

sounds like the stock market is fluxiating a lot lately. Maybe it's the gil farmers, maybe its the crafters, maybe its the players, i dunno. O.O hehe oh well.

*looks around the campfire*
well it seems like there have been lots of poeple at this campfire for a very long time. I thank you all for staying and chatting. I hope we can continue on with this thread some more, since it's been pretty positive. In this thread you can talk about anything you want, just keep it nice, we don't want to start any flames, since there haven't been any yet (yay ^^). Just thought I would say this for all the poeple who didn't follow this thread and are wondering what it's about without having to read through all the previous posts. :)

*Throws some cookies to everyone*
enjoy ^^

Nothing like having a mac truck slam into the pole thats X amout of miles away that affects your connection when you're leveling you subjob...~_~ god knows when i'll be back on like. another example of my luck ~_~

ouch sounds like a freak accident O.O hope you get your connection back up soon. Anyone here like FFX-2? I think it's a lot of fun, I beat it once, and then started a new game to get 100% completion, im at exactly 50% right now, and I have a 100% completion guide and it still takes me forever to get throught the game lol. I want to see that perfect ending, my friend who saw it said it was well worth the time spent on getting 100%. He wouldn't tell me anyomore than that, so it sounds like a really cool ending.

no joke... I'm in chapter 5 right now, with everyting done, i just have to beat Angra Mainyu, and the experiment... i think i need to do Den of Woe too... but i'll have 100% and it's still technically my first play-thru! >_< That's what happens when you have to restart 4 times due to mishap like your memory card getting wiped during a faulty save on another game >_<;;

Edit: On a side note: Does anyone agree with my thought that any male PC caught wearing a subligar of any sort should be fined 2k gil?? ~_~;; *shudder*

lol, Tal, I suppose you didn't see Mr. Subligar in all his glory as he levelled up his SAM to 10. :P~ If you don't know who I'm talking about, bring it up in LS chat. heheh

Went back to Jeuno last night as level 20 pld. My rl friend and I did the trek without high level help. Just used his sneak (although I did shell out gil for a stack each of prism powder). It's much more rewarding (not to mention gets your adrenaline pumping) to do it alone. I'm kind of glad we did it that way. He should be getting his Chocobo license tonight.

Wheee... levelling in Qufim again. As soon as an LS member (SAM) catches up to us (WHM and PLD), we're gonna form a little static 3 member party and fill the spots as we go. Anyone is welcomed to join in (if we can create a full static party, that would be awesome). Just give a tell in game. Probably won't start levelling until tomorrow night or Saturday.

As an aside, it seems that my last trudge through the dunes was incredibly short. 3 levels in one night, 2 the following, I thought that was pretty crazy.

*without thanking he runs into the forset with out his Weapon*

*Gets a good distance away from the Campfire.*

*After about 10 minutes Fleance return to the campfire*

ya i had thf subbed to my whm, other guy was a pld/war, more of a bummer since we needed two. We had fun killing everything in sight waiting for them to respawn and got my staff skill up a bit more so it wasnt a total waste of time.

i'm having a hard time trying to figure out what job to lvl. right now i'm a 22drk/thf, but i also have rng24, nin24, blm23, thf25... i'm just not looking forward to the hassle of going through the jungles. can't really afford nin or rng.... i'm really poor from all the whm gear/spells i've needed to buy since i lvled it from 40-47(still need protectra 3...19k). i may have to quit lvling any job and just farm for 2-3 weeks(i hate farming...) just to be able to lvl again. i'm starting to get a bit discouraged with the game... the gil farmers and fish bots are driving the economy so high that the normal player can barely afford even the most basic gear(not to mention the really nice items that the farmers camp 24/7 and mpk any competition). oh well, just my thoughts. take care all.
