I was invited to do a Garrison last night. As I had never done one before, I was very excited. We were going for a full alliance and most of the people there I had quested or partied with before. One of the best shows of teamwork I had seen in this game...or so I thought. This is where things changed and I suppose is the real point to my story.
Everyone cast lots, well all but one did. A guy named Sinx was head of the alliance and hadn't cast any lots. I had a bad feeling about what was going to happen next and I was right. He switched it over so he got all items, and then used Ctrl+Esc to get out of there.
Wow. I could not believe this guy had done this. One of his friends (Oblivyonn) was in the group and assured us he had only been disconnected. Seemed waaaay to convenient to me, but I agreed to wait around for him to come back. Most of us hung around to see if he would come back. After about 30 minutes Oblivyonn (I think he finally realized what his friend had actually done) logged out.
So I learned a valuable lesson- watch out for bad people. I was really upset about how this went down and I feel a little bit better after venting here.
