You should send me your gil because i am a tarutaru blm that has an addiction to crack cocain. I am stuck dancing for single gils and selling my body to fat sweaty galkas to satisfy my addiction. SO to me this gil would be a god-send I could purchase those galkas for aday and make them /bow to me and fan me in dog collars.
I have way to much time on your hands but seriously helkidd don't quit ffxi at least leave your char for a few months and think about it. If you are getting bored/lonely join the ls I'm in there are good peeps and always stuff to do.

Heya hellkid, we partied last night. I was the lone mage healing everyone lol.
I am kinda impressed we managed chain 4 and 233 exp with only one mage and a PLD. That was fun, and i was sorry to see the party split up.

I'm a 46rdm/23nin right now and i would like to keep my originality of using nothing but nin in pt. To be able to melee and still keep doing my other jobs in a pt, i need to spend a pretty penny on equipment, and ninja tools (i should get into woodcraft for shihei o.0). Any amount of gil would be much apretiated(sp?).
Anywho. I hope you'll be happy w/ watever choice you make, goodluck and such.

Take it from someone else that has "quit" and come back with a new character... if you can afford to keep your account alive, then just feed S-E your $13 a month and keep your character. That way, if you decide to come back you can still have your character and all your virtual possessions/money intact.
If you decide to just go ahead and wipe it all, do what you will with your gil/possessions. Give them to friends and such. That's the best thing to do. Or, if you want to be nice and leech a bit of cash out of the over-inflated economy, do the unthinkable and delete without giving away anything.
