I posted this on the general forum but since many don't check that, including me, I thought I would warn the people of Shiva as well. For a long time many have used BCNM as a gil making enterprise. It still can be but with the new AH rules and prices you might want to tell people how much you spent to list an item. A friend did a BCNM60 the other night and got an item worth about 1.5million gil when they put it on AH to sell 35k fee to sell. This may seem like a drop in the bucket for 1.5mil and it is but remember some may not have the gil to pay that fee much less if it takes several times to sell. Others may and perhaps should take a fee like that out of the reward which will make some think they are being shafted several thousand gil.

As a person who does many bcnm20's and a few 40's, we always agreed that the person who listed an item for sale retained the seller's fee. That is especially true now with the higher sales price. For example we recently recieved a Thunder Spirit pact which the last 5 sold at 200k. It cost my 3700g to list at 180k and ah relisted at 150k after it was returned to me. Ah listed it at 150,001 gil and it cost me 2700, so ah retained 6400g for sales fees and split the 193,600g three ways.
Personally this is fair to me and those ah do it with. Hopefully others see the fairness, and if they have trouble with it then they should back out of the bcnm before it's done.

Being a BST BCNM's are my one and only source of income. We pool our take and have decided to take the taxes out of the profit. But if I were to solo without my LS and it was "my orb, my loot" it's up to me to fork over the cash for the taxes. If I did not have to 35K to put the item up, I would go farm for it.
