Tonight a party consisting of the following:
Agawulf RNG/NIN
Hikigaeru SMN/WHM
Chiyoyo WHM/BLM
Krieg WAR/NIN
Neoloop BLM/WHM
Clavien RNG/NIN
Successfully defeated Promyvion Mea and Promyvion Holla in the same night to acess Tanzania. While the Mea fight went off without a hitch the Holla fight proved difficult. In truth we had to climb the spire twice after being wiped out by the new NM of Holla and his Tinkerer friend who decided to aggro us then eat our WHM. This was followed by a string of false MRs that left our party tired, worn, and questioning fate. Yet we overcame these obsticals and made it to the boss fight. We resisted his trinity attacks and slugged our way through sleep and curse to finally fell him. Upon transprot to Lufaiese Meadows firecrakers were unvieled and a celebration began tempered only by the fact that while we had bested promyvion we had yet to find the stronghold and safety. A long dangerous journey ensued that, with the help of some guides, was successfull and we rested in the last outpost of Tanzania.

we had a great time doing it i might add. when i started playing this game and saw the crags i though it would be cool to get inside. it was cool but i dont really wish to go back again. we beat two of the records for the bcnm at the end 3:41 for dem and 4:30 for mea (i know the times reset when they reset the servers but give me my bragging rights) :)

I died on the holla fight but the party prevailed, tanking that thing and keeping shadows up was just a huge hassle. Now I need to my warrior to 45 so I can do some of the new missions! Man i'm so excited. It was a blast.
The best thing I like about tavnazia so far is the music. Its just beautiful. Don't you think?

Yeah I could have spent a while exploring Lufaiese Meadows with the way the scenery looked and the music. SE really out did themselves, I think they made it so hard to get to so they could use it as a GM retreat.
Congratulations Agawulf! You've worked very hard at this and I'm glad you finally succeeded. :) Hopefully I'll see you there soon.
Last night was one of the best times I've ever had playing FFXI! The party was amazing, we even set new records! Sorry must brag. :P I'm so happy that we did not give up when that NM got us though, even when it seemed we would.
I got to give mad props out for Krieg!(heehee) Great tanking! Sorry you died at the end... ; ; And Hiki just RULES. *.* Also Neo, you know how to nuke girl(Err..I think)! :P Clavy-wavy you know you pwn. :D And Aga, thanks for taking me along with you the first time we did this. And for continuing on letting me be your WHM. You are a great leader. ^^
Before most of us logged, we managed to get the maps for Tavnazian, and many, many quests! @_@ We even killed some of the new mobs. Fomors are awsome. ^^ Now I want to get home so I can explore Tavnazian and find a taru WHM Fomor and whoop his buttaru!! >3

I meant to say we should stay in contact for the CoP missions. I hear they are very hard. Whats most difficult with them I would assume is the lack of people who've done the promyvions in the first place, so I'm sure you can imagine.
Please keep me in mind in things you do in the future Aga :)
now I need to concentrate on getting rank 6

yep although some of us, including me, will most likely need to level some jobs for some of the later missions.
It's Tavnazia, Ag. Tanzania is an actual country. You know. In real life. And, yeah, we all rocked it hardcore. We set the records and we shoved our cooperative boot up their collective ***. Sweet. Props to all my homies, and we'll have to ream the Minotaur soon. I, uh...died there in the Aqueducts this evening, exploring.
Well there goes my Promvyion hopes for sunday ='(

Actually Zeric, Argent has taken over trying to organize the party. He started a new thread on the board with my list of interested people.
yea... you guys wont believe how dead tired I was at work though... two nights in a row operating on low sleep = no fun.
But...
I will say I think that was pretty much the optimum party to have for that. Everyone was geared up... everyone used 2hrs at the right times... and uh... sorry about not waking you all up there when you zzzz'd at the end of the holla fight... I didn't have cure macro'd and I'd just burned Manafont and had 8MP left... with a sliver on the boss I had to try to finish it...
I did like 300 damage to it also... and couldn't kill it. Then Hiki wakes up and has shiva hit it for 17 damage and it dies... lol...
The only thing I regret about it is not killing that damn Cerebrator... we could so have done it too... That damn linking Thinker though... took too many chunks out of Hiki and having to spam cures just wasn't going our way...
HOWEVER... I do need some help on those Tavnazia quests... anyone want to lend a hand... lemme know...

Yeah sorry about the late nights I was kind of dead during the days too. All in all though I think it was worth it for me.
