I think our server is um..."different". first of all, for all the female characters (in game), only like maybe a small handfull are actually female. But what really gets me is how the men try and act like girls.

another one is the constant spamming of tele's in Lower Jeuno.i'm pretty sure if you do it once every 2min, that'll be fine. if we wanted a tele, we'd shout fo one.

a third is probably the constant taunting i've seen going on between players. we should all join together and fight the common enemy...Square Enix.

pretty much this is the ultimate rant thread. add stuff as you feel fit. sorry if this has already been done.

Every server is like that.

It's just the way it is.

Hey...I've noticed you out and about in Jeuno - I'm on Shiva too - an I AM for real, female mithra..... Lvl 24 RDM/BLM...Femwhispers, 'Fem' for short...send me a tell. I do agree some of the name calling and petty infighting is absurd.....let's all get together have fun and treat each other with respect....

but argueing with ppl i dont know is one of my favorite pastimes.... and as for that female char/male player...... dude where the **** have u been? have u ever played a MMORPG before? #1 if all the female char where used by female players then there would be 20-30 female chars in server......
#2 female players play male chars too<not to as high a degree but>
#3 they r avatars.... they represent u but arnt u they dont have to be the same sex u are, mearly how u want to be represented on the game, its called role playing<tho the ppl that get too into it r still freaks>

LOL. snekadid, i don't "hit on polygons" either. i just find it immensly disturbing that guys have girl chars, try to play that role, and you can still know that they are guys...i think this is almost like being a transvestite.

This is a Role Playing Game. Whatever role someone plans to play is up to them. As long as everyone respects each other and isn't out to hit on everyone, everything will be in balance as long as everyone plays there role. But that is hard to do when everyone talks about everything as to why I started a roleplaying linkshell. hehe

To expand upon what Pokiehl so accurately stated:

Every -MMORPG- is like that @_@

Guys play girl characters, and some roleplay them as girls, in a manner directly proportional to their maturity.

People scam people, and are jerks about it. Others are simply annoying. Still others are a sucky combination of the two.

People are jerks. Not all people, not all the time. Being online makes you semi anonymous to the world, and that brings out the hidden things that people (usually) keep within themselves in 'real' life. Others simply don't realize that other people can hear them, talking about '**** lol' and whatnot, and that it's annoying. it's universal, not just to Online RPGs, but the entire internet. It's a fact of life, sad to say, and it's unlikely to change anytime soon.

In conclusion, Casino Shouters are annoying. I fear my blacklist is too small, with the rampant spread of this practice ;_;

There are some things you have to remember. 1.) unless the person is "hiting on you" to use the popular venacular, there shouldn't be a problem with a male playing a female character. And 2.), there are 2 gender exclusive races in the game. You can only have male Galkas and female Mithras (at least for now). Now, I like the idea for the Mithra. A cattish race is a cool idea. Other players might have the same thoughts. I am content to wait just in case, but prob not, that Square will make male Mithra playable. So if a guy wants to play a female kitty, fine. Incidentaly, out of the 3 female characters I hang out with, only one is a guy. I don't think a guy who plays a ffemale character "has a problem". Intollerance for someone's choice of characters is the problem. That is like saying (and someone has), that Tarus are worthless, and should all die. So if My character doesn't fit into yourmold, I should quit? I think not
