Sounds like Cooking is becoming like most other crafts in that it's ging to be tough to find something you can make money on unless you can HQ them at a decent rate.

Alchemy has been the same for me in that I could make something, but it only sells for less than I made it worth.(Unless I farmed the ingredients) Ethers seem to be the exception where I can make them for 1k each, but they sell for around 2k or slightly under. Holy water was a good source of income too when the Light Crystals were around 3k, but as of about a week ago, they were going for 4k+, which completely took out the profit without HQ's.

For cooks that relied on Kabobs & other items for income, this recent update has certainly made them look other ways to come up with additional income. I'm sure that there are other items out there, but they may not be as profitable as others were before.
