Ok get this, its now 5:30 AM GMT... My party in Valkurm Dunes had just decided to disband cos we were all tired n had stuff to do, n just as we did we get the message for Server Maintenence.. 10mins to log out etc...
Fair enough, a pt member blood warps, pt disbands... i start heading to highlands...
So as a bit of fun, i decide to make a train of gobs to see how long my little 16mnk can last for, n as everyone is logging out, its no real harm.
As im doing it... im going to the newb tunnel... saying "choo choo" for effect... suddenly... THIRTY (30) lizards appear around a single hume wid NO armor..... i go "OMG"... n just as im trying to focus my eyes on this spectacle... noticing 2 other players had stopped to view it.... my FFXI CRASHES!!!
Its like OMG! I know i got ***** graphics, so my computer probably cudnt handle it all... but the lizards were in a perfect circle around this hume.... n they just appeared...
What was it i saw? a uber-high lvl farming? Sum1 overly-training lizards? OR a GM playing in dunes wid a innocent hume... hmmmmm
I didnt imagine this.... im sure of it!!! >_<

Maybe the gm's had this hume binded too. hehe. Or even cooler if the lizzys were all gm's and just chasing the guy all over the place hissing and such.

but they did just appear... n was sooo many lizards... just dead weird....
Maybe my comp loaded characters slowly around me.. but still that was a lot of lizards for a un-armored hume to deal wid....

30 lizards cant hurt u if your lv75.
30 misses is what i can see..
even if it hits, maximum they will do will be probably 1-5 damage

yup very tru, and as my comp was overly heated, im not suprised my comp crashed at the sight of 30 lizards.....

ive seen this guy hes always at secret beach on the weekends ******** around with lizard lol with a perfect circle around him i dunno how he does it ive tried lmao ^^.
its not hard... for anyone who has ever trained and then turned around to fight them they'll understand. The NPC monsters always attack a certain distance from the person they are targeting, unless of course that person is closer to them than normal and they provoke it or gain hate off it from someone else...
Try going to Gustaberg and pick out about 10 Bees. Run for a while, then stop and turn to fight them. They fan out around you all the same distance from you... with space between each of them.
This lets you know that mobs try to distance between each other also... probably helps a bit on AoE effects and stuff, I understand why its programmed in.
Finally... walk through lower jueno... you can run from MH all the way past the guidepoint before people start to load. Round the bend and look at AH and its empty, you can even run right up to one of the windows... then stop and BAM!!! people load over and over on top of your. All at once too, its not like they all just logged in right then.

I just got a FX2000 card for me comp as i needed sumthin to play HL2 wid... its weird, i realli dont know what to set my graphics at... such a hard decision!! uber graphics means slow loading... n besides that i keep seein things dissapear.. n carby dissapears...

it was a high lvl ******** around. it just took a long time for your comp to render the lizards and the character. i do **** like that all the time when im bored. the nubs out there xping dont like it much
