High level noobs...Follow

#1 Jan 09 2005 at 4:00 PM Rating: Decent
I would just like to say that I have experienced first hand what it's like to deal with hi level noobs for hours straight... Last night I did Bastok Mission 7-1, 7-2, 8-1, and 8-2. To this day I still do not understand why people in an 18 person alliance decide to act like 2 yr olds and not listen to what is going on. It will be the last time I ever do something like that without people that I do not know. I had a few select good players, all of whom were on my Friend list of course (they're on there for a reason) and the rest of the alliance was a giant noob fest. I am not going to name any names, but lets just say that I blisted a few ppl because of it. It's sad to see some of the things that I saw and I could definitely tell that some of those accounts were bought online. I can't stand people who want to use hi level. characters who did not put in the work and effort themselves. Having to deal with people wanting to rush into things makes missions in the game last MUCH longer than they really need to >.> I couldn't believe the plethora of immaturity that I experienced... I guess it opened my eyes to what's really going on out there. I must say that it is rediculous and sometimes makes me want to quit the game. Just venting a little bit. A lot of people last night got rank 9 that shouldn't have >.>
Feel free to post your comments about your experiences with hi level noobs.

it is down to the fact that ppl think 18ppl ally will kill anything without much efford. if they go with 6ppl, they will listen because every mistake for a 6ppl mission group = death. small mistake in 18ppl ally will be covered by other ppl, so they will be more relaxed.

same theory goes to dynamis. if a 64 ppl group go to dynamis, there will always be more death rate than a 30ppl group. one reason is, ppl will be more careful and listen to leaders if they know they know have 30ppl, they will be killed so easily with every mistake they make. ppl also need to constribute more in order to win. with 64 ppl, you can sleep and /follow ppl without noiced by other ppl not in the PT.

that's why i like small groups dynamis, ppl are always more careful and few mistake will be made. also. less ppl will die.

Just did bastok rank 6-10 with 4-6 people, could have done it just as easily with max 5 I think. Better to do stuff with a small group of skilled people, i learned that when doing LB1 lol.

But yeah, it's sad how fast people level up and how little they learn on the way. I've seen people level to 75 in less than 2 months, and it shows when you ask them to do anything but gain xp.

I don't remember who but I was in an alliance who did bastok mission 7-1 all the way to 9. It was also last weekend. I don't if it was me or what... but some ppl went off on their own after we were in the alliance. And naturally got their asses kicked lol. Besides that most of us got rank 9^^.
