I'm surprised nobody put up Douchemonkey yet. I saw this mithra in highlands, and Bastok a couple times. I guess I could always put my two letter fiend of an enemy Jimsake (not really I hardly know this guy, searched up Ji one day and found him, grrr)

I saw a Taru named 'Ipooponu' - which is funny really, because it actually fits the Taru naming scheme. They're all named: Kapoopo-mopo, Popo-nopo, and whatnot. So 'Ipooponu' cracked me up, because the guy probably got past the GM's watch for name issues.

Oh, and there was a Taru named 'Nuprin', I think.
His comment was: "Little, yellow, .... different."

Agirlyboy is Agirlyman's son I believe.

Agirlygirl is probably a mule.

Not even going to get into my dealings with 'em.

As for names, it makes me wonder about the imagination of people naming themselves after the famous and infamous, movie characters, book characters, and the ever popular gil seller clans.

I mean come on have some imagination. Tanffxia, Tanffxib, Awangcai, Bwangcai, etc.... At least change the names so yer not quite as obvious.

Although theoretically you could've had 6 friends create characters together with the same surname and static together, but the lvl 75 jobs and rank 1 or 2 and bad spammings kind of give you pause, IMO.

Names aren't intelinked through servers, you can have people with same names on all different servers. that was one of the issues brought up in the emmigration that if 2 people coming from diferent servers had the same names, one would have to change thiers.

Hmm... Didn't know that. You learn something new every day.

The scary part of that is that there could me thousands of Cloud/Seperoth clones out there instead of just hundreds..

Lemme think...

Mythra named Meatsock

Galka named Smalltaru

Peanut the Taru cracks me up every time I see him.

Once I saw someone, forgot everything but the name, called Slaphappy.

Tarufondler fondled my Taru >:(

There was a WAR tanking for my party once upon a time called Deadmeat.

I'm sure there are many others, but I'm awufll with names.

I was just going to comment on him. I ran into him selling stuff last night in Windurst.

The thing that surprises me, is that he's lasted long enough in the game to gain mentor status. I don't have any problem with the name but it's amazing how many thin skinned people there are that would complain about it.

Other names found: One time I was running to Giddeus to farm necklaces for Norg fame and I ran by 2 characters partying together. Sega and Nintendo. So that pretty well completes the console system names for me.

I wish I could remember some of the other names I see once in a while. There are some out there that are just really wierd.

First time I ever met Doomchicken he pee'd on my leg. Now everytime I run into him I wave and say hi. Nice fellow, if sometimes a bit odd :)

The hardest part about seeing long names is when you're a WHM and trying to add them to your party. You wouldn't know this unless you were a WHM doing telees but you have to type their entire name out to add them to your party. Well, since I am a fast typer, I usually win the telees if I'm ready for them, but in all fairness I only do I person fast and then wait a while to do another one.
What's hard is typing a name like one of the following:
Crunkinator
Angelofhope
Skeletonjack

One time, the name had to be japanese and LONG and somebody beat me to it! How?!

ps. don't answer that. ^^

I know Crunkinator, he's pretty cool.

Just a few names between people I know (and people that share similar names with them ;P)

Zue-Zii-Zuu
Alderon-Alderaan (both have mules starting with Ald- lol)
Badian-Vadian-Badina-Vadina (Sure, everything past badian are mules of people in my shell making fun of him, but whatever? lol)
Sigon-Sudai-Shea-Schai-Silas (All in my shell! TO MANY Ss! >.<)

That's all I could remember. See ya on the server. :D

It alwasy makes me wonder when I see someone's name and its a clone or referrencing something real world. I mean, how could you hope to be taken seriously with a name like Xbox, or whatever? Sure if you took the time to 'know' them they may be kewl but people rarely go out of their way for anyone they don't already know. If they were a mule, that would be one thing. But a character you play?

Maybe its wishful thinking but I could never imagine naming a character after someone or something silly. I actually like to 'view' my character as a character in a story even if no one else does.

Hows the LS charli, is everyone still mad at me?

Anways, this isn't from this game, but its still about funny names. When i played Phantasy Star Online i had a charecter named Knot Agirl, and when i played Everquest Onlie Adventures i had an Ogre Warrior named **********.
