Have you Ever had one of those moments where you just felt like, wow, I feel really dumb, did I eat paintchips when I was younger. I am sure we have all had our moments, just curious to see what some of them may be.
Mine would have to be when Krieg was helping me with the Paladin Flag quest. I also was helping another person get it ready because I had done this with my other character. Well we get to the well fight the Jelly, we go and touch the well and nothing!. Then it dawns on me, I forgot the 2 books from the towers, well Krieg was nice enough to wait for us to get them and come back, but I sure didnt feel that smart O.o

I recently decided that I have to opt out of Garuda battle because I didn't have Bar"WIND"ra. ... I was kicking myself because I always prided on the fact that I have all spells.
After apolgizing to my PT that I can't do it because I don't have Bar"WIND"ra, I was promtply asked if I had Baraera. DOH!
...and yes, I have Baraera...had it for a while now...BTW...
That's pretty dumb, I think. Certainly a paintchip moment.

I think your posts are funny.
I messed up the PLD flag quest by thinking, for some unknown reason, that orcs were sneak and not sight (I've been in Davoi a gazillion times too). I got myself and a level 30 I was helping killed. I was so embarassed. I didn't get the quest done til much later.
Davoi must be cursed... I just had a stupid moment in there the other day too.

I was in the lead, since I've done Rdm AF1 several times and was quite sure I knew where I was going. Well, somehow I got confused and we ended up at the well for Paladin AF3. We had to go all the way back to the beginning and make the long trek through the river.
The only other blisteringly stupid thing I've done in the recent past is cast Dispel on a Darter while we were fighting a Processionaire. Not my finest moment.

so I was in sky once and I took a wrong teleport and ended up in a room full of weapons without sneak up and was made short work of. My friend calmedes came to raise me (takes a long time to get the spacing right to avoid magic agro) and as I get up I go to use a silent oil and I'm like wtf I just bought a stack, it turns out I paid 8k gil for 1 silent oil that I had already used, so luckily he was able to trade me one before I got agro but man I felt dumb.
I tend to call them "Short-bus rejects"
