Ya start to mimic the movements of your ninja spells as you cast them in the game....

How about when you're walking through the mall or something and you feel as if you're getting examined, so you run around naked.....yea.

...when you get sad for some reason and in your head you start hearing the South Gustaberg theme music in your head.

...when you start saving some of your best insults towards the end of the fight.

...when you start telling people that stand you up for dates, "no problem, see you again!".

This accually happend to me the other day so its kind of embarrasing but...

You've Played Too Much FFXI When You turn to your Husband and ask him for 20 gil so you can go to the store.


The kicker of this story is he handed me a 20 dollar bill and asked me to bring him back some Mythkabobs!!!

When someone asks you to do something and you say {Thanks for the offer but I will have to pass}

... you hit escape trying to clear a line of text, and you're not in FFXI.

I think I do this on a daily basis.

...When you always hit tab trying to make a word rightly spelled right there in translator even when posting on allakhazam or any other forum. (happened to me a moment ago).

...when you follow someone and he turn a corner, you end up stuck in the wall.

...when your boss glare at you and you think. VOKE damn it!!!

...if you ever start killing crawler to sell silk for money...

...when you wonder if you can kill a rabbit or not.

You know you've been playing the game too long when:

~You tell yer spouse yer going to the bank to get some more gil.

~You are watching a T.V. show and say, "Now that was a Provoke!"

~Your six year daughter knows where you are by the music in the background.

~You teach yer six year old daughter to say "Thanks for the offer but I'll have to pass"

~You create a mule to let yer six year old occasionally fish with you in game and she goes to kindergarten and uses the mule's name for her name on her work.

~You are watching t.v. and see a huge explosion from (car crash, bomb, gas leak, etc...) and wonder what tier firaga spell was used.

~It is snowing or raining outside and think to yourself that you should go kill that elemental for the crystal clusters.

~You have surgery and your friends tell your whm spouse to cast Cure V on you to speed up the recovery process.

~The gas prices rise at the local gas station and you start cursing the bloody gil sellers.

When you catch yourself signing checks with your character name instead of your real one. ;)

When your on a Instant Messanger and you use "/l" before your message.

Oh man.. guess I should post my top three greatest hits..

Number 3: /tell Venetia Guilty as charged..

Number 2: Your making SHISHKABOBS and constantly call them MITHKABOBS by accident..

Number 1: You wake up at 6AM because you had a dream that you found a Coffer Key and Coffer. When you opened said Coffer, you recieved 1.5 Million Gil. So you immediately get out of bed and get online to see if it really was a dream ><.
