LB2Follow

Hello all, well I dinged level 55 last night which means its time to do LB2. I'm posting to see who all else is interested in doing it.

Right now I'm level 50 but I'm interested in doing this also if that would be ok. I can bring a 52 Rdm, 52 Whm, 50 Drk and a 50 Pld along also. I might also be able to bring a 52/53 Blm with too. The best time for any of us to do this would be sometime on the weekend due to work/school schedules.

I also need to do LB2, lvl 55rdm/blm. let me know a time and i will try to get on to the best of my ability. thanks

So there's a lot of people that needs LB2, and a few helpers.

...um....so...when is it?

I have a dinner party to attend to this Friday, and I am not available on weekends until later in the day (like 7pm).

You should plan on 3 hours, given the usuall Alliance where people run off, get aggro, arent ready at said time. I have done this 5 times now and it has taken from just over an hour up to 5 hours to complete. Seeing your finding help on here it should go faster, no need to spend a couple hours in Jeuno shouting for help. When it took just over an hour, we were very organized had all our help from start, brought oils and powders, and everyone got items on first kill. Thats one thing to watch for, only 1 out 5 times has everyone mamange to remember to touch the ??? after the 1st kill. If you need any extra help let me know date and time and ill come along.

Good points made:
For all those interested;
(1) MAKE SURE TO GET THE TELEPORT CRYSTAL FOR TELEPORT (name is Vazhl or something like that) I will have no problem kicking someone out of the party if they don't have this and I think we don't have to have them.
(2) Please take 5 minutes out of your time and read this thread:

(3) When a time is posted this is the time to show up in Jueno not to log onto the game and start makeing your way to Jueno.
(4) Please be punctual since several high levels have offered to help if I think the party can do the mission is ready to go and it is shortly after the designated time we will leave.
(5) I WANT TO REMIND YOU ABOUT POINTS 1 AND 2
(6) Just becouse we have some high level help it does not mean that you will just sit back and do nothing, they are there to help not solo the monsters, i.e. please bring your armor and equipment I suggest treating this like you were going into a capped fight for your level.
(7) If you can't cast sneak and invis on yourself please bring powders and oil. The larger the group the more time it takes to keep everyone sneaked and invised and if you can handle it yourself it will help out a ton.
(8) If there is someone in the group you don't get along with then don't talk to them, I really hate playing babysitter in alliances where two people decide they don't like each other and hold up the whole group.

Edit:
(9) After you get the key item from the ??? don't just stand in front of it staring at it move aside so that others can more easily get to it and target it.

One thing I might add:

The NMs do Aggro, so don't get too near them until the entire Alliance is ready to take them on. What I mean by this is that DDs have hit enough nearby mobs for a TP build up, Cured, Protected, and ALL mages have rested to full. I've had a few LB2 runs where people just rushed in and got aggroed, causing a panic amongst the resting mages.

Mages resting to full is important - as we would need the MP to Cure, Buff, Nuke, Enfeeb. :)

Need it if they can get to 51 by Saturday and get quest:
Kalten lvl 50 MNK/WAR
Kaltens 5 friends (2 of which are also 50)
Caruthers lvl 50 BLM I believe need to talk to him.

weekend would work for me. im usually on after 10pm est time could get on earlier if needed.

I'm actually level 54 Agawulf, and could probably easily be 55 by Saturday ^^;

I wouldn't mind being on tanking duty either, unless the high-levels insist otherwise. I could at least be co-tank, so the other party members can just unload on the monsters ^^

Yeah, 1 PM Central sounds fine with me, so see you there, hopefully!
