Wrong button.

Anyway, about 2 months ago I paid 650K for a brown belt for my mnk friend who I static with. We are wanting to get the quest done so that he can have his own brown belt and can return the one I bought him so that he "pay me back."

So if anyone knows of the last ToD on the Morbolgor please let me know. We'd appreciate the help greatly.

Thanks.

Hmm,.... while we are on the topic of ToD... anybody got one on Eastern Shadow?? Iknow it's a slim cahnce that anybody knows, or wants to share that info, but I have some people that will camp it with me if I can get one. If you don't know.... any idea how I might find out?

1 way to find ToD if you don't want to just camp it (don't know how well this actually works)..

Go afk there over night or something, and check your log files when you return :P If you're lucky, you can find the approximate ToD by looking at the 'last modified' time of that specific log file (located in TMP directory inside your FFXI folder). Make sure set your filters so you get a constant slow flow of text in your log, or else 1 log file may cover 3-4 hours or more... making it hard to determine when he popped :P

As for morbolger, I think his ToD will be approx 5 minutes after maintenance is over ;) Good luck!

An even easier way to do this (and the way I used to get the Morbolger ToD a few weeks ago) is to afk there and just count the conquest standings messages that get sent out every hour. That way, you know ToD to within an hour. Also, if you're on a PC, it helps to set up a log parser to record the logs while you're AFK.

Hripthe's strategy is the best way to find out.

I've done this numerous times, and was able to narrow down the camping time to a maximum of 4 hours each time. If you turn off your chat filters, you can afk for a good 12-24 hours, and still catch every action.
