Ok me and my Nephew were wondering were and how ppl make so much money! Cause me and him cant make any

Hellkid has the best farming strategy. He farms idiots in Lower Jeuno.

For you I'd recommend farming mobs for a cheap craft sell, like 10k per stack items.. etc.

Otherwise pull out the credit card and join every other pathetic gil buyer.

You could start fishing. :o You know Graymage, in our LS? He just start after the patch and has been making massive profit skilling up to 7. And he's having fun! o.O

Have you ever tired crafting? Leathercraft still turns a nice profit from the get-go, woodworking can too!

If you're the type... camp NMs and the like. The spook's drop, the Travler's Mantle, is up to around 50k now, and it spawns twice a night, and sometimes three times! During the day you can check on the Crypt Ghost and Goblin Gruel mobs deeper in. The real trick is going after lower contested mobs. A little research here and on Shiva itself can show you many others.

You can always resort to farming. Orc/Quadav/Yagudo all drop gil and items. Gobbues can drop tree cuttings, which sell well, or you can grow them into tree saplings, which sell better. ^^

Speaking of that you can garden! Once you're done with the inital invest of pots seeds can be free (kill sapling-type mobs) and, depending on what you're trying to grow, you might not need an expensive crystal, or a crystal at all! You do need to check on your plant at least once every real life day, though...

I like to farm Quadav in Palborouh(sp?) Mines. I get gil, the occasional NM, and chest keys. You can even bring picks and hit the occasional mining points! Or Yags in Giddius, Bead Necklaces, gil, items, and up to three NMs. o.O

I'll also farm Rams in La Thene and Konshtat. When the weather is favorable I'll kill elementals too. Don't need wide scan if you learn where their spawns are. ^.~

You can also play the AH. With decient fame you can sometime buy items off the AH and sell to NPCs for more than you paid. And, far too often, you can buy cheep NPC items and put them up on the AH for 1.5 -> 2, 3, or 4 times more depending on what it was... even from the same city! O.o

If worse comes to worse you can dust of a low leveled job and level it up. Get crystals and sell them. Learn what drops what you want (like fire crystals, or dark crystals) and kill only that kind of mob. (This is why I don't have a lot of low jobs anymore ^^; )

And that's how I make my gil Yeah, it's not a lot. But it is stable. Using most any of these methods I can do 10k/hour minimum (and hundreds of thousands if I'm lucky ~.^).
