Howdy, i wuz wondering if I'd b wasting my time if i made a Trau PLD on Shiva server? <taru pld from ramuh> transfering out of ramuh cuz lots of friends r quiting and i have many friends on Shiva

I dont know, ask Skold i think he might be a lvl 75 pld by now, but I would think Taru pld's are fine, get hit a little harder, but have more mp to back it up.
As far as I know the general population doesn't think taru plds are worthless. You should be fine. Although I can't be 100% certain on this matter.
i know a few taru plds and they are all happy here. tarus have a nature hate so they dont need to try so hard. lol j/k. shiva welcomes you to come.

Be whatever you want. Shivainites don't realy seem to care. I even know a Thf/Brd who's had no trouble getting parties. I've never really seen any racial discrimination to date, either. And it sounds like you know what you're doing!

Shiva is pretty free of the *****.. Ever since the great exodus of kiddies from the summer, things have been very pleasant on Shiva.

I just got back from a 3 month hiatus playing WoW... which bored me. I would say that people have grown up a lot. You still have your elitests but people seem more tolerant of subs than over the summer.
As far as my take. I don't see a problem with any race playing any job. I have played with galka whm's and galka plds and they kicked ***. I've played with taru plds and they are kewl too. It's the player, not the character, that matters. IMHO.

pld is one of the job that can be any kind of race in pt situations.
as long as you stay away from spiders, you shouldn't have problem. spiders are fine, but you would have some risk that you get 1 hit KOed.
when you ccan't find a whm, get a main tank, get a taru pld/whm and you have 2 good tanks + 1 fake whm, that's helps a lot :p that's why i love taru drk/whm too.

Taru plds are fine. Just not safe at high levels unless they go for +hp in exp pt.
In Kuftal our taru pld had less than 100hp over me, as a mithra thf...a VT mob did like 2x double attack and a tp move and all of a sudden they were dead =P
And fighting Ladons with a taru pld tank can be scary hahaha.
But they're fine because of their mp pool, I wouldn't turn it down at least, heh.
