I liked this part:

Think about this... you all say its just a game. Just a game. Then why do you hate people who do something you do not do, if its just a game? When you say its just a game, your lying to yourself, cause if it just a game, it would not bother you.
We play in a time where you "have to" have certain gear or else you are looked down upon and called a lazy *** who doesnt want to spend 3 weeks farming for one piece of gear. Its not the gill sellers or buyers that have made the "must have" items so expensive. You might come back and tell me "look at what happened to the snipers, thats all the gill sellers fault." No its not. Its because we are all to stuck up on the idea that we have to have certain items to be good because sending an extra 30 seconds during a fight is totally unacceptable.
So now that we think that we need these items(sniper rings, scrop.harness, haubergeon, etc etc), people will pay those prices because they think they have to. If we change how we think about this game and say "hey i dont have to have these items" no one will buy them at the totally outrageuos prices. So the prices will fall down. Way down. But that will never happen, not because people will buy gil, but because we will never change the way we think.
Gil sellers arnt making the prices so high. Its the people that think we need those items and will pay whatever to get them. My final thouhts: Change the way you think. Dont pay outrageous prices for things that arnt absolutly needed.

gil buying is not ruining the game. you all have no idea how this works do you...
now, i personally dont agree with supporting the gil sellers. for the most part, because they use third party programs to claim NMs and that is ruining the game.
now, if you learn a craft, or learn how to garden elemental ores like i have, you can make your money easily without actually being in game most of the time.
think about this though. if you make 15 bucks an hour. and have the potential to make about 30k an hour in game , wouldnt you just pick up an extra hour at your job to buy gil? i mean, it's much easier, you get the gil 10x faster. it's simply more profitable. '
economically speaking, for people with real decent jobs, gil buying is more economically sound.
it's that simple.
whoever this character posting about buying gil is a real jerk it seems. but at least try to see both sides of the coin. please. be objective.
btw, wind ore is up to 300k on diabolos. i usually get 3-4 at a time from each mule. 1200k from ores - 200k for the cost = 1 million gil every 3 weeks. X3 mules alternated so i harvest once a week = 4 million gil a month.
i suggest those of you that are angry because this person buys gil and salty because he has the equipment that you want learn to garden. it's incredible monye ^^
Makes you see both sides of the matter.
However, point is, there's no proof that that is actually the player posting. Look at the trouble people have gone to to cause drama (Cray's pic at ffxiplayers for example?).
What I don't understand is why you're going to so much trouble, Hellkid. If you don't like them, fine, /blist or other ignore the lot of 'em. From the few experiances I've had with EK they seem alright. No better and no worse than average. I think we get the idea that you don't like them, fine. Point made. Now how about making more productive threads and less spam in here, eh?
