drg is SC opener, drk is SC finisher, you can't compare each one.

the competition for drg is rng , sam which are better SC opener than drg.

I invite DRG's when the party calls for it.

Your not the only one who waits for parties BTW.

If I hear one more crybaby dragoon, i'm gonna puke. I know it's not easy, I know you aren't loved. I've been down that road before, suck it up and just make your own parties.

Edit: You better get good equip too, no one remembers every single drg they party with. But I sure as hell remember a gimp melee. Be sure to get Mermans Gorget, Assault Earring, Venerer's ring, Sniper ring, if you can. Valks/Walure mask helps a ton for damage too, also jaegars mantle.

all and all i hate to say it but in comparison to all other dds drg is very gimp at lower lvs (below 30) there great but after that drk, and rng begin to take off....mnk doesnt realy reach potetial till 51 but in over all compareing the 3 in over all usefullness drg falls short (i know sux i want to play drg) rng can deal dmg like you cant belive (due to haveing the factor of 2 dmgs that are added together) drks absorb spells, as well as dmg per hit and mnks hit number and chi blast....where as drg has jump thats realy it, not to mention with out a wyvren drg falls short...in the arguement of drg vs. mnk vs. rng drg looses to both mnk looses to rng tho but rng and mnk switch off in pros and cons (have some prety nasty skill chains too) i sit in jeuno waiting for ptys as a 56 mnk on any given day i see 6-8 drgs seeking SQUENIX FIX DRG....before they gimped meditate for a sub drg was a great DD at 60 with a sam sub...now its just down right pitiful need to add some flavor to it...like letting your wyvren grow as you lv...or dragon magic or something (dragon magic, refering to fryida from FFIX)

Drg only sucks when the player equips and plays like it sucks.

I've been in parties where I almost keep up with a blm and rng as thf. I've also been in parties (at the same level) with a drg that does just as much damage as me (and the blm in pt, I try not to pt without one)

Dragoon has the highest natural accuracy in the game, and with the right equip (+str) they hit hard and hit often.

As a thf, my sc partner list goes as:

Good war > good drg > Obow rng.

Yes, drg before rng, you heard it here.

Misakito, i dare you to post this in the DRG forum, and get told just how wrong you are. DRG is not gimp, people just think they are, because they dont see/count/add/notice the pets DMG, and the other great qualities DRG has. If they dont have their wyvern, i do agree they fall short, but other then that their DoT is awesome. They have some SC issues at some lvls, but nothing that's all that detrimental. Heck a month ago, you could seek, and at any given time their was 8 DRK seeking.

DRGs are great. Yesterday I partied all night with an exceptional DRG named Magicstar or somethin like that. We were in party with me, him, a THF, and 2 WHMs. We were in Lower Delkfutt's Tower killing Gobs. --and collecting Fire Crystals and no I didn't have signet because Bastok is not in power anywhere at this time :(

We weren't getting good exp too often but we got the dual provoke thing going great(every 15 secs a provoke).

His weaponskill Thunder Thrust and his Dragon Quqis (maybe)using Sand Breath, were consistently doing about 100dmg which is pretty good for this level I think.(level 23)

DRG don't get parties
MNK don't get parties
THF have to be leaders to get parties
WAR can't be tanks
WHM can't melee
BLM is the only job that gets parties
RDM never in seek when you need them
BRD are humping the damn RDM players and are AFK
NIN can't tank
PLD can't provoke
SAM is a name not a job
SMN aren't main healers
BST are loners and probably live at home with there parents
If I'm forgetting any job, it's probably for the better.

(please note this is pure sarcasm to the comment MISCONCEPTIONS people have about different jobs)

Ok we get it, theres different jobs, not everyone is gonna like this job and that job. You're totally entitled to your opinion, but don't be an *** about it. (like I USED to be :P)
