lv 60+ mnk subFollow

#1 Mar 16 2005 at 3:51 AM Rating: Decent
im a 56 mnk atm but am xping rather fast is it realy that big a deal to change sub to thf just for sata i mean sata is nice but personaly i feel a mnk/thf is just to gimped in over all war im getting a minor def boost, more vit more str more hp...along with provoke beserk...double attack (probaly the most important)
where as thf sub i get sata and a little more dex...(im a mithra dex isnt realy a issue) id rather have double attack...people dont undestand...where as any job with a nin sub has duel weild (given by a trait) hand to hand combat naturaly has 2 attacks so double attack triggers off each swing not 2 or 4 hits it can be 2 up to 5 attacks per action...as a mnk i find the war an all around better sub...so is it realy that big a deal?

Having both subs available is the best thing you can do.

/THF adds SA and TA, which if their is no THF in the party, will be very useful at keeping your butt alive. Not to mention, you get a nice crit every minute, and your WS DMG will be considerably more.

But having both available, for any situation is always the best.

I always see mnk's sub war, and once in a while there will be a mnk/thf in exp pt, but mnk is more of a DoT job and /war gives them so much more dmg I think that's usually the preferred sub.

And for a mnk, sneak attack would hardly be a "nice crit" as it's just a normal crit when you sub thf. You can have Double Attack go off on either fist and do a lot more damage and gain tp much faster.

After 60 having both gives you the best options and sneak attack/Trick attack on your weaponskills do give a nice ego boost as well.

What you always have to consider is the party formation and what will help out the most as a war/nin I had many Mnk/thf sata off me or the tank and it worked real well.
