Hello it me again. Im sorry if i seem noobish but all the info really helps. I have found a list of leveling locations from levels 12-50 thanx to this lovely site. The problem is whenever i suggest these spots to my party they either blow me off, dont want to go, or get mad at me. The thing that gets me is the locations listed arent usually camped and therefore exp could roll so much smoother. Example worms in korroloka tunnel rather than snips and stuff in Valkrum dunes. This may be a just a noob ranting but plz words of insight would be welcome.

12-20: Valkurm Dunes
20-25: Qufim Island
25-27: Yuhtunga Jungle
27-32: Yhoater Jungle
32-37: Garlaige Citadel
37-46: Crawler's Nest
46-50: Garlaige Citadel

It's been a while since I've leveled in the Kazham area so I hope that is accurate. There are other alternatives as well to those above, but those are general areas that people level at. I hope this helps!

I think that there are 2 main reasons why people don't want to go to Korroloka Tunnel is A.) Subjobs quest and the items are right there in the Dunes. B.) People are lazy. I've heard the comment, "Oh, I know that the Xp is good there but I don't feel like going all that way." Sad but true.

The levels for Kazham that Gogeta listed are correct but you can go there at level 24 as melee or mage.

Most people go to Garlaige Citadel at level 32. I hate it there though. Its a evil, devil spawning, hell hole. When I have a pt at around that level I always suggest Eastern Altep. Kill beetles then Dhamels there near the zone to Western Altep. If you don't have a crystal to there print up a map Korroloka Tunnel of this site. The crystal is located at G-6. You can stay here until level 36.

You can actually go to Crawlers Nest at level 35 but not really before then. Once you get here you can realistically stay here all the way until level 50.

Worker Crawlers 35-38
Nest Beetles 38-40
Soldier Crawlers 40-45
Horn flies 42-46 (Crappy AoE though)
Blazer Beetles 45-49
Rumble Crawlers 47-50

At 52 you can do Helm Beetles but by this time there are alot more leveling options out there and Crawlers Nest will almost lived out its usefullness for leveling at this point. The main reason that I like leveling here is cause for the most part most of the mobs here don't really have bad special attacks and no serious AoE attacks (except Exorays and Horn Flies, which aren't that bad).

The problem is that most people refuse to see past the end of their own noses and refuse to other than the "Accepted" leveling spots.

My only suggestion is to be patient and keep trying to sell others on these alternate areas.

Behind the waterfall near the entrance to Sea Serpent Grotto is a good alternate to Yhoator Jungle from 29-32/33.

Eastern Altepa is definately a much wiser choice that Garlaige Helladel for 32-36. Crawler's Nest from 36-40 is not bad albeit heavily camped and I'm not sure of an alternate spot for that range.

Gustav Tunnel from 40-43 is a good alt to the Nest fighting Bats and goblins.

Quicksand Caves in Eastern Altepa fighting spiders and beetles is good from 43-46 and Quicksand Caves in Western Altepa is good from 46-49 fighting the same things.

Good luck to you.

thank you for all the info everyone, but the thing i wanted to find out is how do i convince people to go to these spots. I know i might get shot down but the overly large amounts of parties in the dunes and jungles kill me. Please help me come up with a strong argument.

Make your own party and "Tell" them where your going to exp.

Might take you a little longer to find people willing to go, but thats the only way to get people at lower lvls to try new areas. Dont forget, that about 50% of the people below lvl 35 or so, will drop a party without and notice, and wont care that you cant find a replacement. Try to make sure everyone will stay for several hours before going.

I agree with the information given here. I have leveled through these places almost 3 times now and doing the same areas is sort of boring but still fun. I would recommend you actually GO to these places before trying others so that you don't lose the experience that is "Garlaige Citadel", but eventually to try different places you are going to have to find people that feel sure of themselves and their ability as a team member.

You are also going to have to be patient. There was one party that was willing to go to the Altepa Desert if everyone had the crystal but one person didn't, so we didn't go. Well the only way I got to have the crystal was by a nice party "hiking" it ALL the way through Korroloka Tunnel and taking me to Rabao. Something I had almost completely missed my first trek through those levels as BLM. It was like a new game to me. It was neat! It was like Advanced Dungeons & Valkurm Dunes. (joke)

I also urge people to go at level 43-45 or so, so that the mobs that are there on the way can be easily taken down by the party.

If you want help in selecting people willing to go you can check their rank. Rank tells how high their main character is. This usually means they have a lot more experience with the game and are more likely to have the crystal.

Norg is another of these places that you feel like you missed when you first get there as a high level character. I got to party near there because of these JP players that took my WHM there to level off of Gobs in Yhoater, and then Pugs near the entrance to the Sea Serpent Grotto. Great exp! After the party, the leader hiked it with me to Norg and I was like, COOL!!!

Rank, Rank, Rank. Players with a higher rank are usually more willing to go to other leveling area and also will have the crystals needed to teleport there. I know when leveling my war one time we wanted to go to Eastern Altepa desert. All of us, but one had the crystal. The ones of us who had it were all Rank 5+, the one who didnt was Rank 2. Now im not saying Rank means everything, but almost every person that is rank 6+ has a lvl 55+ job and knows more about alternative leveling areas.

There is, at times, confusion when it comes to a player's rank.

For example, lets say you're level 60 and you start to form a party. In this party, you recruit a 60 NIN/WAR but only Rank 3. Why Rank 3? Either he is a lazy ******* or most likely, he changed alliance.

I try not too pay too much attention to rank due to the fact that the person may have changed their city, so their rank is low when in reality, they could be rank 10 in their first initial city.
