How to **** off a troll.
It's very simple.
Post nothing but good things on the forums.
This seems to **** them off.
They have nothing better to do than to flame people, cause hate and discontent, and to rate up negative posts and rate down positive posts.
Some people had their sense of humor surgically removed at birth.

Considering theres only a few people active on the forums right now, one of them being you, one of them being me (whose posting about the next person I'm about to say) GRIMSHIDDY is currently on the boards aswell, I would put all I had on him being the rater downer ******.
Yup he's already hard at work rating me down for being positive.

I just don't understand trolls for the life of me though. We get a lot of that on Gaia Online (yes yes, I do go there *sweat*)...I guess they just live to put others down or just aren't getting enough attention from mama and papa <_<
oh well, I guess the best thing us 'normal' people can do is to just ignore it lol

I used to go to Gaia Online too! But it got boring to me. Though it was a cool idea.

This is true. Anyone can rate someone up or down but for it to take affect against your karma you have to have a rating of 3.01 or higher. So this means that:
Crayola
Grimshiddy
Barchiel
Doomygir
can rate up or down but it won't change anything.

You can have the highest rating of 5 but you need at least 15 posts to gain any Scholar/Sage/Guru status. So just "making a new account" for trolling purposes isn't as easy as it seems.

i cant rate anymore unless someone recently rated me up some more. Your right, posting only helpful info in forums makes you a real target for trolls. i got trolled down from almost 4.0 >.<
All depends. Who's to say that who ever the troll is doesn't already have another account with a high rating? I could create a new account. Make a few posts. Rate the other account up until it can affect other's accounts and then troll away. Bit of an effort but could be done.
