I wonder what the precent loss will be if you are raised once they change it to 8%. Will it still be -25% making the total exp loss 6%? I hope so

Is this really such a good move SE is doing?

The Pros - so much easier to reach your level and not get discouraged by looking at the massive exp you have to gain

The Con - that massive exp is what seperated the true dedicated players from the ones not so determined to achieve that 75 goal

Or possibly seperated the sane player from the content that they really paid their money to get to but then found out they would have to move to a Buddhist Temple in Tibet to play the game twelve hours a day to get to.

I suppose it's your world view tho.

I'm really quite overjoyed about this, I heard (don't attack me for hearsay, I'm just too lazy to do the math) that the exp required to get from 1-61 is the same as what it takes to get from 62-75. I could be wrong, but even if I am... Thank God. Now I can not worry so much about getting 75, and just level other stuff until after the update.

Yea ppl hit some good points about the new system making all the hard work of the ppl already at 75 worthless (especially the ones who have 2-3 jobs at that level... ouch). Dont we already have enough 75s waltzing around camping every damned HNM?

Lol and unrelated im glad some1 finally realized "Yeah I do believe you're referring to the guys behind the scene <_<
Bush is just the pretty boy lol " thats why they call it "the Bush Administration" when they want to diss his policies.

I say the sooner a lot of people start hitting level 75, the sooner there will be more limit breaks and interesting "expansions" possible, making spending more real money necessary which would not be so distasteful imo. Plus, making the game easier in some way is something I think we all can agree on would be good, ie. the game is hard.

Reality is, a lot of people have quit cuz of having difficulty in attaining LBs, and having large exp expanses with little or no party invites, and perhaps because of experiencing the addictive nature of farming gil feverishly for days with your goal in sight only to (dishearteningly) have the really great stuff go up in price or disappear.

On a different note, I think at level 75 you should get some sort of mega moghouse enhancement so that you are all set to start a new character, which will take forever... times two.

I didn't know they were going to do this and don't read the blah before logging on. Rated up for putting this interesting topic as a thread. :)
