The Gathering of the party in Ru'lude Gardens to Teleport (keep in mind, this WHM is NOT the party leader)

Party chatmode:
Leader: Okay, when everyone's ready, meet in Ru'lude
Me: Okay, almost done buying items, then I need to go get signet and a Reraise scroll
WHM: wut u need reraise for?
Me: ...
SMN: I'm buying items
WHM: PLD and SMN come to {Ru'Lude Gardens} <call1>
Me: I'm getting signet...
WHM: <call1>
*I arrive in Rulude finally*
Leader: SMN, please come to Ru'lude gardens before we kill each other (meaning the WHM)
WHM *Oblivious to leader's jab*

In Promyvion:
WHM: BLM don't cast ice spells
Me: Why can't he cast ice spells?
WHM: cuz i going to cast {Barblizzara} and {Barparalyzra}
*In linkshell with my in-party BLM friend*
Me: Does that make your ice spells suddenly suck?

At the memory receptacle:
ME: *Provoke Stray* , *run up and hit next stray* *EVERYONE gets hit by the pitifully weak AOE because we're on the short-side where we aren't blown backward into aggro*

WHM: *Not casting cures of any kind for 90 percent of the battle*

WHM: PLD don't stand so close to MR, you get hit by AOE
Everyone Else: *ignore*

At "The Fence Level" in Promyvion Holla:
Leader: WHM, please stand back (with the party)
WHM: *La di dah di dah run around*
RNG: WHM, stay back
*WHM gets aggro, which quickly turns into 3 aggros (Wanderers)*
*WHM whips out his club, and proceeds to melee....*
*I'm playing Whitemage this battle, expending all my MP on cures (To the rangers mostly... I miss flash) in between provokes. All my hate tools are now gone.*
*WHM casts Curaga or something (Not Benediction) that rips hate away from even the Rangers. Nobody can get back hate*
*WHM's HP drops into double-digit red.*
*I use "Invincible", and I get back hate long enough for everyone to kill it with nobody dying*
WHM: ... >_>
ME: I had no MP left, and no hate-tools left. You were going to die.
WHM: no. I had echo drops.
(ME: .oO(?!?!?!?!))

Further on in Promyvion:
WHM: Where is the MR located?
Party: *Ignore*

*WHM runs around, seeming to follow one of the RNGs*
RNG: Stay back WHM

In the Spire:
WHM: ok BLM don't use ice magic, *blahblahblah*
BLM: I can take care of myself, WHM.

In the Bossfight:
Miraculously, he actually casts stuff >_< . He got off a cursna when I needed it, and cast cure. Where was all this during Floors 1-4?!?. It was high powered cures (Like, 3) however, which made hate keeping more of a chore than it needed to be :/
Still, I was glad I packed a bunch of hi-potions and Yagudo Drink.

Afterwards:
WHM: I have to go, we're doing a tour of Sky
/linkshell: Me: YES!
*WHM disbands*
Leader: Okay that WHM sucked.
Me: Agreed >_<
Party: various statements of agreement.

In conclusion: Don't be that guy, I don't ever want to hear/see a WHM do any of those things again. Especially not from a 72 Whitemage for crying out loud.

(PS: I don't mind WHMs (or any mage class) melee-ing if the monster's AOE isn't crippling, but not at the expense of the job's spells.)

I don't think the OP meant to offend any of us Whm's, it's just that the noobs in our job seem to stick in ppl's memories a bit more. I think it's pretty funny actually. If anything look at this way... the more the bad whm's stick out, the more the good ones seem to shine.

heh, Ripping on WHM's is pretty fun. I do it all the time with my friend IRL ~~~> 68whm. I was just checkin out the boards and saw this and started reading it. some of you guys were upset that it ppl are pickin on the whm and ya just gotta chill. This is a game and its just a joke. people gotta start realizing this is a game. anyways i'm just about 28 with my whm, i know what im doing so you cant rip on me =P. but whats up with White mages wearing Eudrite rings and stuff to make their INT go up? You guys need like saintly rings or something. As far as whm's wanting ninjas in their parties....its no fun i'll tell ya what. It may be easy but not fun. i was lookin for party in the dunes as 17 whm, and get invited to a JP. i was like sweet these guys know what they're doing. there was like a rng,blm,nin, and a thf. another person was a whm who happened to be american so we mingled. i was literally falling asleep because of the bordom. the other whm was doing all the cures and it was free exp for me. so WHMs......Ninja tanks = no fun ><
