Soulfire Linkshell Recruiting PaladinsFollow

#1 Apr 23 2005 at 3:13 AM Rating: Decent

Hello!

My linkshell, Soulfire, is currently trying to recruit a couple of paladins. We only have 3 higher level paladins, a level 75, a 70, and a 69. We would like to have a couple of full time paladins who are dedicated to attending our events, such as our weekly Friday Night Linkshell Event as well as our sky events.

We do have some requirements for membership. They include level 60+, rank 6+, ZM6+, and CoP Chapter 2-1+. However, since we are rather short on paladin prowness we're willing to overlook some of the mission requirements.

Note, we are not an HNM linkshell. We've been known to camp HNM on rare occasions but this is not a focus of ours. However, we do enjoy sky events and missions and various other things.

Please check out our forum if you are interested in trying us out:

P.S. We're also looking for Summoners, Warriors, and people who play in the EU or JP prime times.

EDIT: Forgot to add forum address.

you should overlook most of your mission requirements and say "if your dedicated to out LS then we will be dedicated to you. Lets get you those missions!"

not

"if you dont meet the requirements then you cant join"

im not trying to say soulfire isnt a good LS... though i could name a few crap membmers (probobly some good ones if i knew the names but that can be said for ALL LS not just this one but meh i digress).

i remember seeing similar things before with your ZM runs. stop denying people there chance to shine and help peeps. if you enjoy missions and quests so much then dont make requirements for them. go help them instead dag nammit.

/rant off

P.S
bah! reply to this post and thine shall die a death of friction burn!

Hiya, I would just like to say that this is no way a flame to Xelliths post, more like an explanation.

The reason Soulfire has 'requirements' for the recruiting is because we are getting close to the linkshell limit of members and we would like to avoid members having an error when logging in because too many people are online and the ls is full. Too my knowlege that is the ONLY reason we have set requirements. Everyone is free to join in our events be it ls or non-ls members and many have.

Mea if I've overstepped my bounds in explaining you can berate and tell Cerr to punt me later :P

Bah, I forgot my other login name...

Xellith, the reason why we do have requirements is because of a few reasons. The reason Avhienda listed is one of the main concerns. At a usual time we have only around 35-45 players on normally. But when we go do a sky run or something like that, we get upt to 57 people on at a time. Due to this, we're limiting recruiting to mainly certain jobs as well as people meeting certain requirements.

Granted it would be easy enough to help out a good canidate with such mission or quest, but we also want to know that they can get something done by themselves. Whether it be by scheduling an event or attending one and following the directions to complete it successfully.

Second, we've been going through a few adjustments and don't want just any asshat applying to our linkshell. I do not wish to have someone apply just because he meets the requirements either. We have a voting process and because of this, even if the select few that we're looking for - job wise - get denied an LS pearl, then they don't get in. Granted, I'm sure that's unlikely to happen with most people who apply to our LS, so please, please don't be discouraged lol.

Finally, like Avhi stated...if a person wishes to apply to our LS and is having trouble with their missions like ZMs for instance and we have them scheduled. It's always possible that they can attend the event. They just need to register on our forums and check out the event section frequently. Then again, there's always the case where they can't come for a certain event, whether it's due to level restriction or what not, but more than not they'll be allowed to come. We've helped numerous people on occasions, whether it be ZMs, Proms, Coffer Keys, Optical Hats, etc.

Eckardt, Co-leader of Soulfire.

~lol avhi, you're not out of bounds. Also, Xellith, please killi me of a friction burn.

Anyone East Coast USA can play EU Prime Time. I believe Europe is only 2-3 hours ahead of us. That means if Primetime in EU is 7pm-11pm EU time, 4pm-8pm USA EST. Not to mention, if any EU members are late night junkies, 8pm-11pm USA EST time takes you as late as 2am EU time.

Ask Avhienda and Eckardt stated, everyone is welcome to attend our events. We only have very minor 'linkshell only' rules for events - such as if an event has a limited number of possible participants then linkshell members are given the places first.

But if you need a missions or would just like to come along on something, check out our Events board for anything we're running at any time. The more the merrier (especially paladins).

Hmm. I seem to have lost my signature someplace. It's still in my user account information too!
