Around 2:40 pm est me and a bunch of people i know dc'd and can't get back on i want to know if this is happenening to anyone else.

The servers have been ***** lately. This is a trifle annoying.

Well at least i got most of my levelin done
and to my suprise as I headed to San d'Oria via La Theine Plateau, what do my lvl 18 mnk eyes behold? Nothing...then BAM Lumbering Lambert. sh**!!!!! ; ;

Yeah well, I busted my *** for 7 hours this morning taking my paladin to 57 and right now the server is telling me its 56. This better be a mistake, cause even if I died in the DC, I was like 4k into next lvl and I'd still be 57. I want my damn glut sword. Also, I got a vigor ring today. If its gone when I log on, I'm going to blow a circuit.
It says Shiva is "Partially down". Hah! It's a server wide disaster! We're all doomed! Doomed I say!! Without ffxi, how will we live? Is there life after gaming!? OMFG WHAT AM I GONNA DO!?

Now it's saying Maintenance in about half the worlds. /sigh...
What kind of braniac ordered a server maintenance on the WEEKEND, the busiest time of NA players?
it's "emergency" maintenance. They ordered because if they didn't do it, the game would just be down the entire weekend.

I would rather they fix any bugs there are now, than to let them lie there and for the game to be down for the entire w/end because they left it.
I wonder if this has anything to do with the DDoS attacks. Perhaps they are now targetting specific servers now?

Heh, I'd just left a xp party 'bout 10 min earlier. Felt bad cause I'd left without a replacement, with 2 dead from linking Skeletons. They had a raise III coming so hope they got it before the server went down.
Looks like it'd've done no good if I'd stayed. Now I don't feel so bad.

man...i guess thats not to long, that leaves me with 2 hours left to play. i wonder what the real problem is? it cant all be these "Ddos attacks" they keep talking about
