I'm sure many of you have seen this before but this is a fairly heartfelt story, that all who do nothing but lvl should take to heart...

Meeting again

Personally I love this story, I can relate to the dislike for mindless lvling, I love exploring new area and doing quests and missions, to me Xi is more then just a race to rank 10 and max lvl.

How many others feel the same?

Wow such a great story. It reminds me so much of my original group of friends who took me in when I first joined the game. There were four of us:

Agawulf (me)
Tray
Taison
Danmcd

We always wanted to make a static at lvl 30 but could never all get on the same page or find a WHM. Then one day Tray stopped showing up online. The linksack still worked and all and the three of us stayed in contact but slowly drifted apart. Eventually I too threw out my pearl. Then one day Taison stopped showing up online. Now I still bump into Danmcd from time to time and I've made new friends but I still miss my friends who have left the game.

*sigh....* i remember a long while back, my best friend started this game. we played all summer. his blm, and my mnk. i remember how long it took just to get to 30. how long it took to make a few thousand gil. unfortunately he quit playing. i wandered off onto another server. i got him a WP and he suprisingly started again, but it wasnt enough. he quit once again. now i am 46rdm. leveling was so much easier than those newb days. getting gil isnt a problem at all. if only he was here.

The gift of a static is a really wonderful thing. I started playing when this game first came out on PS2 I didn't have many friends in the very beginning and leveling was always so hard when you are a just a nOOb. Yet a not a month later I was able to get all my co-workers to join in on the game and ever since then we have had so much fun together, on and off the game. I am very grateful to have friends who have stuck together for such a long time...if it were not for them I may not be a DRG anymore. Sorry to rant..I just really love my static and friends!
