Anyone else having troubles this morning? Logged out to check my mules and haven't been able to get back into the game. Shut down the game in hopes of it helping but no go.
Computer's been restarted. Modem and Router both been reset. Now I can't even access POL. However, everything else on the internet I can access so it's not my ISP.

Its noontime and I cant get into the game either. Ima starting to really get pissed over this. I hope when SE finds out who is doing this they run over and stab the living **** out of the morons doing this.
Finally it's past 9am PST. Time to contact these people and find out wtf is going on. I'll let y'all know anything I find out.
Continuations of the DDoS attacks according to the rep I talked to on the phone. People are online and playing but numbers are way down.

yeah i was about to say, after I read the first few replies to this thread, I successfully logged in, very quiet server 0.0 but there was practically no lag! ~_^
man, im soo bored, i took care of all my RL stuff and come back to get lvl 65 and still unable to log in.
do you guys think the problems are just with the main servers?
think we wouldnt have these problems if we were in a unpopulated server?

This is really annoying me. It's finally my week where I can actually play for most of the night and I can't even get on. You would think with the money we pay them per month they would have all these problems fixed.
yea if you think about it, 15$ about (just estimate) per person, per server...... should be the best technicians availible.. oh well, maybe ill clean my house or something... nah, ill just post random messages here till i can get on lol ^^

If nothing else, maybe when I come back they'll have the DDoS problems fixed. And maybe monkeys will fly out of my cat's butt.

I actually read somewhere that these attacks are not just on SE, they could be political attacks throughout Japan.
If that's the case, it's probably someone messing with the entire internet of Japan...but I don't know exactly what is up, just something I've heard.

I read in 2ch that SE is controlling access from certain ISPs and IP address, trying to track down the attacker/hacker.
Some JPs with certain ISPs cannot log in, but some with another type can. Some can log in play, but some cannot access AH.... Then the next day, the same people that didn't have problems will have problems...etc. etc.
On a related note, I spoke with my family back home in Japan, and they told me that Japan has been receiving cyber attacks from China regarding the recent text-book issue (I'm sure you've seen in on Lou Dobbs). There was a large demonstration in China against Japan, and several Japanese businesses, restaurants and consulates were attacked by Chinese mobs (as in ppl folks...not monsters).
I don't know if SE's servers are being attacked as a part of this or if it is some other entity (perhaps an angered RMTer?) but nevertheless, I'm going to be harvesting rock salts now.

Hmmm. Maybe my schedule is a good thing. This is keeping me from the stress of not being able to get my fix. Of course, it also means that I'm still not lvl 60. XD
