Hello new comers to Shiva or even FFXI itself.
If your having any trouble with the game or just want a LS to chat with while online please give "Vanguard" a try.
A very nice guy named "Rheinhardt" has made an LS just for helping out newplayers, we do PL'ing to mission assiting and we're allways welcoming new members, if your interested in joining /tell Rheinhardt, me (Trunks) or just post here and any member might see it and give you a linkpearl.

Hey yeah I'd agree.
I've known Rheinhardt since he was a low level and although I've never been in any LS with him, he seems to be a very helpful guy.
He told me once that he was going to create and LS specifically for helping new people to the game, and wanted me to come. But due to a 1 LS only rule I declined.
It's good to see an LS made purely for productiveness.

heh, Vanguard you say? I'll have to get a linkpearl for that one. im currently war9/mnk4. but my main is 47 rdm. Rheinhardt does sound like a cool guy i guess. ive hard about him.
I applaud the effort, and I think the LS is a great idea and will be a great help. But I wouldn't PL someone new to the game.

amen. We're all very helpful ppl, if you need anything from new armor (for the new folk) or assistance in a mission or quest we're happy to oblige (as long as you're not too pushy. I've had an incident with a new person who kept /t-ing me demanding gil <_< but I think that was because of that fat M in front of my name lol).
Rheinhardt helped me out as a newb and still is ^^
If any of you newbs need a pearl for it send Kimss (me) a /tell, I have a pearlsack ^^ (im not saying I have a sack ok...so be quiet.)

Bumped and rated up for a great idea.
A HK player did that for me and a lot of other people I met in the beginning. It made a world of a difference to have a LS full of people all at the same playing field learning things for the first time and helping each other out.
