WoW V.S. FFXIFollow

Heh, you don't pay much attention to the forums, do you?

A substantial number of people who left FFXI for WoW are now returning back to FFXI.

They're two different games. If you think FFXI is wayyyyy too slow for you, go to WoW. If not, FFXI is your game.

Well, you're also level 30 and the exp has been seriously altered for 51+ (where is starts to feel slow, at least how it used to be).

But yeah I have had a number of friends return to FFXI from WoW now, and there are many who play both of them. WoW you can get stuff done in 20-30min, FFXI you normally need around 2 hours at least to do a whole lot once you pass the low level areas.

i just started WoW and i like it because its new. Also most of my friends from FFXI are there now too so I'm not by myself. Its extremely fast paced. I wasnt planning on leveling tonight but i did a few quests with a couple of friends and BOOM! 2 lvls..lol.. it was fun getting those levels too. Its very quest based. You dont go to camp and exp for hours. You mostly kill things to finish quests and when its completed, they reward you with items, currency and exp.

I'm not saying FFXI is bad. I did play it for almost 2 years..lol.. WoW doesnt have that communnity feeling where you know everyone and you certainly know their business whether they like it or not..lol..Havent experienced any drama in WoW. Maybe because you can just duel anyone anytime to take all of those aggression off. They're completely 2 different games and I love them both. I'm still planning on staying in FFXI coz i love my Taru. She's the best! >.> lmao (ok maybe not!)

wow is more geared towards casual players who dont have hour upon hours to play. in 2 months in wow you can be at the level cap as in 2 months on ffxi you can be getting advance jobs.
