Kraken Club Stolen (Cerberus)Follow

#1 May 18 2005 at 2:06 PM Rating: Decent
I just read a post on one of the other server forums (Cerberus) and was amazed at reading about how an HNM LS had one of its members steal a Kraken Club, and then apparently attempted to sell it for 50 million. It just amazes me how greed and power will affect people in what is supposed to be only a game. This makes me think back to the whole ordeal about the Osode. I just wanted to share this with Shiva and maybe gather your thoughts on this.

~Your friendly neighborhood PLD.

LOL

Anyway, I think we already put our thoughts into it. Go read the old Osode Drama thread, just don't post on it. No need to bring it back up. Most ppl steal stuff like that because it IS a game. Hell, what can you do to get it back? Sucks but it's true. Enough of that though, who's going to see Star Wars at midnight tonight?

I had my club stolen also awhile back, how i got it returned might help your friend.

The person I loaned it to was a jp friend of mine which turns out wasnt my friend ^^; but anyways he decided to DC for awhile and then tell me that he sent it to my mog when I hadn't received a thing -_-. I figured anyone who would do this was probably pretty young or a really sad excuse for an adult so i was hoping on the young one lol.

I basically wrote up a legal threat, complete with lawyer info and examples where people had been sued for stealing virtual items (O.o surprisingly enough its actualy happened quite a few times). I hosted this on my website along with pictures of a GM saying he would release that persons info to the lawyers or police if they asked, then wrote up a buncha legal jargon and sent him a POL msg with the link. Next day club was in my delivery box ^^.

Basically whoever stole it is an ******* or a little kid, little kids worst fear is involving their parents in a matter and a legal threat will do that =)

Kilee threatens!! Mmm...interesting!

Did someone say... OSODE?!

JK.

Actually I did read up on it briefly and in the asian countries you can actually get that stuff back - they do have a court system for it its just time consuming and takes money and one very obsessed person.

It would be nice to say you can trust people that some days you call them your friends on this game. Too bad you can't.

Kilee- thumbs up babe.
