error code: 3001Follow

the other night i was logged in to ffxi, and all of a sudden i dc'ed out of no where???!!! my R and S were fine.

well anyways, i get to the point where i chose my handle and charecter and when u see the "downloading data" in the bottom right corner.

well it does this for about 3-5 mins, and then comes up " error code 3001 server has timed out please click ok to end " or some **** like that.

can anyone please help me out??!!its been 2 days now that i cant log in.

btw im on PC version

I am on a PC too. When it says timed out, I usually take it to mean that the connection is not being made. This means your ISP may be on the fritz. It could also mean the internet plug is out. In any case, check connections and if it doesn't work then you just might be trying to log in when the servers are all full and that would mean a lack of connection too.

I get the same error too sometimes but I have come to understand that it is just a busy server, mostly.
