that knows their way around Eldieme. I've been searchin for this coffer for a long *** time. Since loh helped me a few weeks back get the key. I've been camping through the glacier in that little cove type place where the coffer spawns up top. no luck. if anyone can help me locate this coffer i'll forever be in debt and i'll offer whatever kind of reward you want. i have the next 2 days off so either let me know on here or /tell in game if you're willing to help. I just feel gimped running around as a pld with no af.

The coffer Does spawn there and thats the safest spot to camp it.. all u need to do is sit and wait.. bring a whole lot of crafting materials and just wait... i logged there and came back.. and it was there for my Pld af gloves

If you can get down to the Hume bones on map #2 (http://www.speakeasy.org/~sticks/ffxi/treasure/Fr_The_Eldieme_Necropolis.html), its usually pretty safe to camp there.

I found my coffer at M-10.

Unfortunatly, you will need a partner to get you in the bat downs entrance and through the doors. Once your in the doors, one person can hit the switches, and another can look for chests. If its not in any of those spots, going to glacier entrence is best.

I seem to have a full schedule ATM, but if i can find time ill help you with doors (i had trouble getting someone as well and feel your pain).

I've done this exact thing. I am also assuming you did this on the side you must zone by going through Glacier. I used 2 oils in total, 1 to walk up to the coffer and 1 re-sneak to get the eff out! ^^
