M.A.A.T Updates (/blush)Follow

Hi guys!

If you have been reading my blog, I decided to call my Monday night adventure M.A.A.T - Monday Alliance Adventure Team...Kinda cheesy but o well, I'm not very creative with these things.

So here's the update for our MAAT event for May 30th! (Wow - May went by so fast!!)

Level 15 Restricted Water Way To Go

Requirements: Please have Water Way To Go quest for Windy opened. It's supposed to be repeatable quest - If not, it'll be level 15 restricted Vengeful Wrath, a Bastok Quest.

Please come as a job level 15 or under. We will meet in front of Optistery in Windurst Waters North at 8PM EST. From there, we will race to Giddeus to get the Giddeus Spring Water to complete the quest.

Rewards: Upon completion of the quest, the NPC will give you 900g. BUT the first one to return to the NPC gets to keep all the reward money every one else gets. If you do not come in first, please kindly give the winner your reward money. So, if we have 10 people partipating, the reward pool will be 9000g!!

Here are some things you might want to consider:

1) You may team up with another participant. For example, a level 15 WAR can team up with a level 10 WHM. The WAR can strike a deal with the WHM to split the reward money. (Which means, come early so you can get a good teammate!)

2) You cannot use Warp Scroll or OP Warp.

3) If you die, I will raise you. I won't be participating in the race...someone's gotta do the raising!

4) No chocos. Absolutely no chocos.

5) No Oils/Powders. Just to make it fair for those who cannot afford it for silly events. Precious resources should be used for something more important - like being self efficient getting to an EXP camp! (I'm such a WHM...)

6) No Ninja Invis Tools. To be fair with No Oils/Powders and to be fair to those who don't have NIN 9+. Thanks Kramer!

Thanks for reminding me - I'm a mage...I don't know about the Ninja secrets - even after 75 levels, I do cast Invis on my Ninja and /NIN DDs...often.... Only to see the message, "Invisible has no effect on WAR/NIN" - quite often.

I will be there too.

I won't be attending - Memorial Day and all...

...well...only two people came to this...I was very sad...

I will host another event next Monday, again, and if attendance is poor, I won't do anymore of them...it's not fair for the few that show up, sit around and wait for 30-45 minutes, hoping people will come. I'm hoping it was just the "holiday thing" and that everybody's still wanting to do some "fun things".

So...Next Monday's activity will be announced this Friday. We won't do the Water Way To Go quest. We'll do something else, so please read this thread/my blog for updates.

Sorry I missed the event Uchipu and the few that showed. I was sick. Slept all day and night. Had some killer dreams tho! I will be at the next one for sure.
