HOWEVER, there is as of yet an unnamed Expansion that is being worked on. It is entirely possible that the Expansion will include new job or summons or that one of the future "Bi-monthly" updates will add something new.

{/welcome} 4 hr long updates again. {/sigh}

The only way Japan can have Bahamut and no one else is on Atomos the test server.

Otherwise there's no flippen way Japanese players can have Bahamut and not us. How would that work?

JPlayerA summons Bahamut.
NAPlayer wtf? nothings there!
Bahamut uses MegaFlare on Goblin Smithy.
Goblin Smithy takes 800damage.
NAPlayer huh???? it just dropped dead.

erm...
XBox 360 does have a Hard Drive. Which will probably end up like PS2, except it'll come with the system and not sold seperately. *cough* think it'll end up the same way as PS2, installation wise

4 new jobs; 2 mage, 1 melee, and 1 melee"ish" job.

Summons: 3 Summons; Odin, Phoenix and for all you fanboys(and girls) yes its true, Bahumut.

-New JA's for current jobs (not a whole bunch, but some in need, (FINALLY)
-2 jobs will have fixed 2 hours. (don't know who yet)

I'd like to put out my predictions =D
4 new jorbs:
2 mages = Blue Mage, no clue for 2nd
1 melee = choco knight, like a drg but with a choco instead of a wyvern, same weapons as well =P
1 meleeish = mabey another job like bst? a 2nd soloable job would be cool.

3 summons:
I agree Odin and phoenix, but for the last I would think something like Alexander... How cool would it be to have a smn that can tank? add a 3rd tank to the game w00t.

New JAs you say...
I think Lancer/Lancet, and give nin or brd at least 1 job ability other than their 2hrs.
For the fixed 2hrs I'm thinking that drg and choco knight will have a 2nd 2hr and make their pet call a fixed one.

Just my predictions ^^

New jobs? Anything that's not PLD, NIN, WHM, BLM or RNG has hard enough time looking for group? Why punish more people trying to have fun? The X-Box 360 probably will end up like the PS2, it'll work out for a year, then SE will stop supporting the console version just like it did for the PS2, making it nigh impossible to get a new copy, HDD (more Sony's fault on that one though, idiots.), or any expansions. I've still yet to get CoP for it, even though I ordered it from Amazon.com, and got the PC version instead.

It really makes me feel wonderful knowing that SE and Sony don't consider me a target for their products, so I guess I won't be much longer. :\

EDIT: by the way, Sony stated officially that the PS3 has no hard drive and they have no plans to implement one into the console. Things might work out better on the 360, considering Microsoft is an American company, and probably would push SE more in regards to what us NA and European are bothered with.

Wouldn't you get a little bored seeing/playing the same jobs over and over for a couple years? Also you forgot to add BRD and RDM to that list >.> new jobs would not be punishment, it would be great, especially for ppl like me who've been playing since NA PC release, the JP would probably love it too considering they're almost at... 4 years now?

Actually
I was able to buy the HDD with game 2 weeks ago, and last week I purchased CoP for PS2! :)

My friend and I were discussing types of jobs that would work out in this game based off Final Fantasy Tactics.

1. Alchemist-someone that uses potions to blind, paralyze,
poison, etc.. with other abilities that aren't currently available at this time (how about a silence type attack against melees that stops attacks all togeteher)

2. Hunter- a archer type character that uses pets they raise and feed and the such that level along with character staying a level or 2 below the character. They would capture a animal and raise it or get rid of it later and capture a new one and start raising process again. this could be the second solo job class

3. Animist-calls upon animals to use status ailments and attacks and can character melees while doing so.

4. Blue Mage-already mentioned but would be fun to absorb animal special attacks. My friend suggested that it would be cool to actually turn into a particular animal using spell and gain abilities of that animal and would drain mana while in animal form. what would be even better about blue mages is they could turn into beastmen and demons etc.

Anyway these are justa couple ideas hopefully SE will read or get wind of these suggestions.

Yeah, but who is going to want to buy all those medicines. That will be VERY expensive, and a normal mage can already blind and such.

We already have a BST and SMN.

That would be pretty cool. I want to see more mages. Like Geomancer and Time Mage. Dancer would be cool, but it'd have to be a lot different from BRD while still being unique. Pirate would be cool too.

Or Vampire, lol, but EVERYONE would want to be a Vampire. Lots of Drain abilities, low armor but high VIT. With your magic type attacks taking from your HP instead of MP. That'd be interesting. Also give Vampire the "Break" abilities like Armor Break, Magic Break and such. They could branch the Vampire story with the vampire guy under the Chateau in Sandy. What do you think?

This would be very interesting the game certainly could use more Evil jobs. The 2 hour could be something like "Bite" wich would continually drain enemies hp and give to you for a duration. And they should have some ability like flee obvioulsy as Vampires are quick.

Vampire would be cool, but SE would have to keep it unique, so far it sounds like DRK a bit. Could be something like a mix between THF, DRK and RDM.

I think the new job(s) should be higher level advanced jobs. I would say you have to have 1 job at level 60 before you can open one of these new jobs. I am sure everyone below 60 atm will disagree, but I think it would be a good idea.

Or even lvl 75. So there won't be a flood of people with those jobs.

I have a level 75 job also and was thinking the same thing, but that seemed a little steep.

Hmm... about those summons. I dont think Bahamut will be one. He's too tied into the story line.

I dunno about phoenix either, but I would say Odin and Alexander for sure. They are the only celestial avatars that aren't already summons. They also represent dark and light, which is supposedly fenrir and carby, though carby is actually a rainbow avatar meaning he is all of them. Fenrir isn't actually supposed to be an avatar, he was ripped into it. Maybe Odin and Alexander to fill the light and dark, carby is the rainbow, and fenrir is the moon, with phoenix to represent the sun. That would leave Diabolos and Bahamut as the only other surface gods who aren't avatars. Which would make sense since Diabolos is the god of the dreamworld and Bahamut is the guardian of the sky. Fenrir was forced into it, Carby is your guide, and phoenix... needs to be a summon :)

Phoenix, yes please. RB III for the whole PT, or at least RB II.

Odin would be very nice.

But I wanna see Rick James as a summon. Shiva thinks her Double Slap is tough? Shhhiiiiieeet. Ain't got nothin' on Rick's.
