I've started the quest, but I'm gonna require the aid of a few (or several) Higher levels to fight those asshat NM orcs (in Davoi I believe) ; ;
Whenever (after 4:30 pm MST) is ok, Tonight I'll be leveling my sub so, if I can't get a pt, and there are willing volunteers, I'll say "to hell with a pt!" and change my job back to war XD

Are they those Orcish WarLords that I pleasently ran into by accident during my LB3 run?
Unfortunatly I can't do anything till this weekend but if you're on and still haven't gotten your item send me a tell during the day and I'll see what I can do to help. I can't solo it but I can help do some damage.

NM Names:
Gavotvut and Barakbok
Info:
Barakbok is lvl 43-45 NM, job: DRK, Weak against water.
Gavotvut is lvl 45 NM, job: WAR, Weak against water as well.
Both orcs will spawn when I find "Hidden Flap" Target. ; ;
after these 2 are killed, I'll (or any other war) will have to find "Hidden Flap" Again (it moves after NM battles)
This weekend I may be doing a Promy run with LS, but if Not, this weekend would be excellent ^^

I'll let you know when I'm setting up to do this. My bf (smithers) might tag along as well (he follows me around like a lost puppy dog....ironic, cuz he's a Galka...). ^^
I wish I woulda seen this earlier, I would have helped out. I've done this twice, once for myself and another warrior in my ls. First time I duo'd it with another war, we (I'm a monk!) were both in our mid 50's. The 2nd time it was a 40war, me 60mnk and a magey of some sorts. I think it was a rdm. It's easy.
Kimss. I can help you on Saturday for it. I am pretty sure i can solo those no problem. No actual AF1 NM gave me any problem. Just tell me over the LS. If smithers come It should be even easier.

Hehe thats fine, will he be coming as a war as well for it or another job as support?
If you know anyone else who's interested they're more then welcome to come along as well, it'll allow us to kill them that much faster.
As for the leech comment, don't worry about it :) I know some of the AF's can be a pain. For some of my AF gear I needed to get help from higher ups as well, there are some things that no matter what job you are, theres no way to solo them on your own.

Last night after my sub got to lvl 20, we formed a hodgepodge pt of me, smithers, dovii and Shaolinz...
Needless to say, I got my AF weapon last night. ; ; I really didnt think I'd get it last night, but indeed, it happened. {I'm Sorry.} The other AF's im sure will take more planning, so I'll harrass you for help in ~10 lvls lol.
Question: Why is the WAR's AF weapon an Axe? Why not a GAX? Always makes me wonder. Should I use my AF weapon? It has some excellent stats...

Congrats, i was gonna offer to do them with you as well.
I dont know why SE decided to make WAR AF and axe, but at lvl 50 your gonna wanna have axe capped, since as WAR/NIN you get a 15% delay reduction for dual weilding. At 50 people really want WAR/NIN, even though it really doesnt make sense till 55, when you get Rampage (a Bad *** WS !!!). Either way, i suggest sticking wiht the Gaxe till 50, and then getting your axe capped, so you can do either in exp party. At 55 i would go strictly axe (unless your parties will let you cap Gaxe which would be awesome), and at 60 youll need to re lvl Gaxe for Raging Rush (the next phase of bad *** WS's!!).
Also our relic weapon (if anyone ever gets it), is a Gaxe, so maybe thats why our AF is an axe.
Considering War is supposed to have a A+ in Gaxe compared to a A- for axe makes me wonder why your AF is a axe as well. Although I guess since it really doesn't make a difference level wise till 60 I guess they decided to pick.

Wow, really not much difference between the Bst axe and the warrior Axe. They just swapped the Dex with Chr and give us one more damage point and slowed us down a tad.

Not really, by the time you would want to use your AF axe, it is outdated. In fact i have never killed anything with mine ><

I got my warior axey af1 thing, it's pretty, I keep it in storage along with my whm af1. Oddly enough I kept war and whm but tossed mnk af1 out. At level 50 war af1 might be outdated, but at level 20 mnk af1 is already outdated, ironic no?
