thanks glitter, I guess I should say some of the reasons why I'm leaving FFXI for the people that don't know.

Well this past schoolyear I was at a real college (I went to a community college my first year) and after playing FFXI during this past schoolyear, it has been a big cause of my poor grades. After the first semester I was put on academic probation, and the 2nd semester wasn't going so well at the start. So I decided to cut back on playing FFXI a bunch, and pulled my grades back up enough to be off of academic probation. After seeing how things are with little to none FFXI playing time, i've come to the conclusion that it would be best for me to make a clean break so I don't fall back into my old ways. This game is just way too time consuming for me to play. Running a LS, being in a static party, trying to lvl past 50, having events for the LS and trying to make everyone happy and enjoy the LS. It's all tough work and I just don't have the time for it anymore. I started a new job a few weeks ago so I have even less time now. I work 8am -5pm mon-fri so when I come home I am exhausted, and the first thing that appeals to me is the couch lol. I've even been going to sleep way earlier than I normally do. And lastly I have lost interest in this game. The spark is all gone now and the only reason for me playing is for my friends and LS. This game used to be a lot of fun but now there's too much elitists around making things more serious. Greed has also become a huge part of the game now, which if any of you that know me, know that I am the total opposite of that lol. I'm not talking just about HNM LS's because it's not just them, it's just the server as a whole. I don't want to sit here and try to make a point so I'll just stop it at that. "no, no point. Old men like me don't bother making points." (lol was on a matrix kick last week, watched all 3 in one day.)

i havent even had time to play halo2 recently so if there is still one, it won't be very big and i won't be on a lot. I've made the decision to not form anymore guilds in any game again. Only join existing ones. I've proven to myself that I can be a successful clan leader, I just don't have the time to be one.

hehe Agawulf, guess I'll have to start being a jerk and always bug you since I'm not leaving this game soon lol :P

I remember in my beginning days your name was already synanmous with Mithra and your KKG. Though we only pted once in Kazham I still wanna say thanks for your attempt to mediate that issue between me and one of your kitties. You were humble and helpful and showed no high-lvl elitist attitude which is so rare these days.

Thanks you guys ^^ I appreciate all your kind words. I'll miss everyone ive ever had fun with, chatted with, rescued when in danger, and befriended. Neorei thanks man that means a lot to me. Revanant I don't think we interacted much in the game but I have always known who you are lol. Clavien actually my LS has done huge trains in the dunes before, along with ghelshba outpost, and qufim. Qufim was the best. It was fun seeing 20+ kitties running through the tower slaughtering things as we went up it. Ever seen a huge pack of mithra pounce on a giant in the tower? Gets ugly pretty fast. lol I just hope that after I'm gone things won't get worse and that more poeple will come to realize this game isn't all about being "uber" or having the most gil. It's about frienship and working together with fellow players to grow as a character as well as a person. I know I have changed because of this game, I think for the better.

anyways sad to see you go and good luck with college, i jope you find some time to maybe return after college and such is done and you get some free time
