Who would win?Follow

As you guys know, I finally sucked it up and cleared out my Ninja ??? last night. I knew I had to do it eventually, especially if I wanted to solo higher level mobs with my rdm.

I was thinking about my plans and all the nice things I could do with ninja...but then I remembered something. What about my pirate? I had a full set of pirate AF (until Femwhispers stole it). Do I quit pirate and become a full-fledged ninja? I truly was in a moral dilemma.

It reminded me of the age-old question: who would win in a battle of pirates vs ninjas? Each has their own unique abilities that make them truly badass. But if all the pirates went up against all the ninjas...who would come out victorious?

Maybe you guys can help me answer this. Since I am on a never-ending quest to become teh uuber l33t, I will take whichever one wins. Losers are for--losers.

Come on, you guys aren't being serious about this!!! Sure ninjas can fly stealthly through the night, they come fully equipped with throwing stars and can turn anything into a weapon of destruction...but what about pirates?

Pirates:
*bave big-a** swords AND guns
*ride around in ships with cannons. Cannons! Try seeing a ninja dodge a cannon ball!
*using talking parrots of doom that can tear a man in half with their razor-sharp beaks or claws
*can shoot laser beams out of their eye patches
*Were the original cyborgs. They are so Godly that they replaced body parts like hands with thins like hooks.

So many factors to consider.

Oh please, that's cuz NINJAZ don't need a whole team, just one can do the job (unless you're a turtle). A pirate can't do JACK on dryland. All they can do is shiver their timbers and crap. So Pirates lose the "walk teh plank" bonus.

Face it, ninjas don't even have any good movies either. You either have your cool Kungfu movies, or samurai movies. Ever seen "American Ninja 3"? Oh yeah, ninjas at their finest. Pirates have movies like Cutthroat Island, Pirates of the Caribbean. Then you have real pirates, not some crappy ninja. Blackbeard and Sir Francis Drake (privateer, but same thing).

In summary, pirates so rock.

I beg to differ. Ever been to Norg? All pirates there, they're the ones who attack the Selbina/Mhaura ferry. It's even in the auto-translator.

Pirate's also get a dual-wield trait. Argh. Their 2hour is called "Scurvy" and it inflicts just about every damn negative status effect in the game on target, including Curse, Paralyze, Petrify, Slow, Bind, Gravity, Silence, Blind, Poison, Bio, Dia etc. and uber Sleep (this sleep lasts even though it's poisoned and you hit it), depending on the level of the monster, it will last 30secs-2mins, and they don't all wear at once, they will all slowly wear off one by one.
