No it's not what you think :)
Our LS, FableUnity, is hosting a LS event on Tuesday 7/5--that's not this tuesday, but next. It's so secret that only 2 people know what it is...not even our sackholders know. Since our LS is still growing, we'd love to have you guys join us, even if just for the event.
If you want to attend, here's what you need to know:
* You have until the event (7/5) to get a job to level 10. Hard, huh? Here's the kicker; you can't be level 9 or 11. It has to be exactly 10. Die if you have to, this is worth it :)
* You can bring any job you want, preferably one you've always wanted to use but never have
* You do not need to be part of FU to join, but we will give you a pearl if you want one. Either give myself or a sack holder a /tell. Even if you just drop in to say "hi" and steal the clues, we'd love to see ya.
* Try to have all of your initial teleport crystals (holla, dem, mea). If you can't get them for whatever reason, we can always work around it. I can even help you get them before the event if need be.
So why all the secrecy? This event will not only have a a surprise ending, but few prizes as well. By keeping it secret, no one can get an advantage over anyone else. I will be giving out hints though. This week FU was given the clue. Next week, they will be given another. A couple days before, the entire devious plot will be revealed. That way everyone will have the same amount of time to get ready.
So if you want to join up, let me know. If you're not sure, get a job to 10 anyway. You won't regret it :)
edit: There is a CHANCE that the event might be bumped up to 7/3 (Sunday) since most people will be off work and not blowing up fireworks. If this is the case I will let everyone know.

Just an update. Both secrets have already been posted in LS, but if you missed out, all is not lost.

As one, we may not have stood a chance. As a full alliance however, they'll be the ones needing a "/shout Raise Please <t> Can I have it? <pos>"
But wait! There's more!
After an hour of death, murder, and mayhem, we will proceed to an event that I like to call the "Best Death Contest." Start setting up your macros now, because the person voted "Best Death" will win their choice of 50k gil or or a mystery item set of unknown value.
I still have one more trick up my sleeve, but you will find out about that after the contest.
So make sure that your job is level 10 and you have any equipment that you may need. Practice now! The better and more original your death, the more chance you have at winning.
Revenge? Alliance, yes please!
Oh, and....FU!!!"
Oh yeah, and "Best Death" means the best suicide...not the best way you kill the monster :)
