It's being a real hassle to connect -_-
yeah its a pain ive been dced three times ive been trying to download for 4 hours now ; ;
I can't even connect lol.
O.O im waiting to getting connected again so i can go out

I downloaded the playonline viewer update the first time I got connected. When it restarted the viewer, BAM. Can't get back ><
out of the 11 months ive been playing this is the worst update ever downloading wise ,SE always has to ***** up some where.....

I had no problems downlaoding the PO update...even contected to PO, but tried downlaoding the FFXI update and it wouldn't even let me get to the downloading section kept on saying "servers are busy"! Then i had to go to work and i thought i would try getting back on PO before i go and it wouldnt let me...so im kinda screwed when i get back home from work if i cant even get onto PO (/cry)

yea, i'm on FFXi to, I get to part two of updates and it d/cs and I have to try like 300 times to connect again than I have to start from step 1 again...POL was easy, only have to connect a few times than it went throuigh everythign with no hassle.

fingers crossed it will work when i get home then :S or i will have to make some kind of contraption to automatically select that "retry" button over and over and over and over and over :(
I'm 62% there. My FFXI withdrawl will soon come to an end <.<... least I got outside and did some work during the day, instead of at 4am in the morning....
I have never had a problem with updates. I logged on today and instantly got into POL, downloaded that update. "Fools" I thought, as I mocked you all.
Then I got to FFXI patch, took about 40 tries, my arrogance subsiding. Then it started to download. That was about 3 hours ago. I'm currently as 21%, as I have been at 21% for the past hour. I'm on the verge of timing out, I can tell. When I started it said it had about 2 1/2 hours of downloading time, now it's 9hrs 37mins. /cry
I shall never mock again..........well I will, but not about this.

i try try try some more and every time i keep getting nocked out i havent even goten a chance to start the prep yet the downlode and i realy wanted to exp today =(

finaly started downlodeing after just about a day of waiting dam
I was able to get on at lunch. Lower Jeuno was like a ghost town. Unfortunately, I was not able to play much had to go back to work. You can bet your *** that I did not log out though...I just temp logged to make sure I can get back in!

ya i dont think ill ever get on the downlode seemed to stop and now i cant do anything with the viewer im hoping i wont have to kill it
Yeah, I have about 400 files left, but i always get disconnected. It said 5 hours and I have a cable connection, then I got dc'ed >_<
Oh well. Time to go watch Boondock Saints and try it later at midnight. I suggest that you try and do it when you think people will be asleep, which is about 3am here, haha.

I think you just need to get in when a bunch of people get kicked out, but who knows when that may be.

Added mine and my wife's signatures to the list. This is unreal. E'ery bloody update ah gotta wait longer to access because of the increase in number of character accounts. This is bloody ridiculous. over 17 hours since the update finished and ah still have over 800 some files to download.

I've been trying to download this for many hours now, managed to get lucky and get down to only needing 100 more files to download, but now I can't even get on. So damn congested right now ><.

Actually, another "Congestion Update" as the POL group put it: there's apparently another DDoS going on atm, hopefully now that they've figured out what's going on they'll be able to take care of it soon. *Prays*
