My NPC is now level 38
Been going Western Altepa Desert
Just fought some more and she leveled
When I talked to her at the RP there was now a new option in this list "lets talk about appearences". She let me give her some new head gear, I am guessing as time progresses I will able to choose her full armor.

NPC obtained level 39 yesterday. Not much else happening yet. I am hoping for a 3rd weapon upgrade sometime soon.
NPC still lvl 30 after 4 callings >_< (3rd time he died)
Noticed he's changed armor 2 times, from the starting gear to the lvl 28 gear (forgot name, will edit when I look it up), and now looks like hes wearing lvl 1 RSE >_<;; Was able to change his fighting style tues night to healer or attacker. Chose attacker. ^_^

The best thing you can do is take him with your highest level job to 1 of the 2 deserts, preferably Western Altep and level him that way.
Reasons he wont level - If you are using a job under job, he caps at your level and therefore gains no exp. You are fighting Mobs that check to a level 30 as Too weak or Easy Prey. You keep dying and noone is sure yet if they lose exp when they die.
So, get a teleport-altep and go play in eastern altepa?

Yes Eastern you would be our best bet then, go kill Dhamels and Beetles, I am not sure how good spiers would be to a level 30 in Eastern though.

My final update until SE updates your NPC again or by some odd chance there is something new found no one has discovered yet.
Some people have reached level 50 with thier NPC, mine is only 42, haven't been leveling it lately. These people, some of them have gone a couple weeks leveling daily since they hit 50 and thier NPC has not leveled. So either 50 is current cap, or it is time to go talk to Maat and get your NPC, some paper, coal, mold.

Also as far as anyone has found out the 2 weapon upgrade is the max, and the appearence feature is also the last option available.
