Event - InvasionFollow

DeadlyVipersSquad is sponsoring the following event. If everyone in the following Nationalitis lvled a job from 1-10 in an opposing city's home area your nation could take it over. I noticed from my own lvling that it is very easy to get the Windurst conquest bar to jump a little from my own lvling from 1-10 in West Ronfaure. So despite what some may think it would be very easy. We just need 'everyone' involved. The benefit of doing this is that you are able to do an outpost supply quest to that region and then you will be able to outpost warp to that outpost no matter who controls the region in the future!. So here is the plan of attack.

Next Week the following nationalities will 'invade' the following areas and lvl a job from 1-10+ in those areas.

|San D'Oria| -> |North & South Gustaberg|
|Bastok| -> |East & West Sarutabaruta|
|Windurst| -> |East & West Ronfaure|

Judging on how much participation this event gets and thereby successful we are we can do this again the following week and rotate the zones that nations will invade. I have no idea about Expiditionary Forces but if someone else does know something please feel free to share that info with us. It would help respective nations establish control of those regions. I ask that everyone find the time to participate in this event; as everyone will have a fantastic opportunity and the satisfaction of knowing that you changed the face of the game for a week. If you have any questions feel free to ask them.

It can be done. This is an ongoing thing on my server (Unicorn) where Windy has been at the top of the list week in and week out, until recently when people have been taking over their newbie area. It has been quite humiliating for them.

Sandy has been the latest victim, as the historically pathetic Bastokers are now trying to take over the server! Check out this recent thread, for example.

While areas like Sarutabaruta and Gustaberg might be a little easier, actually planning for a nation to take over Ronfaure is nigh impossible. It isn't "just" newbie leveling grounds. King Ronfaure's Tomb resides there. Do you know how many people level there in the 50's and again in the 70's? I myself just tonight, a rank 6 Windurstian with Signet on made 10k exp. I'm not exactly sure how many conquest points that tallies, but I'm positive that I didn't make a dent. And that's just me fighting in a straight exp party, about 3.5k exp an hour, roaming bones parties can make up to 5k+, even up to 7k or more an hour. Granted I may not have high rank, so you have rank 7, 8, 9 or 10 nations with signet running around exping for hours on end. Unless you had an army of high ranking (you get more CP, which makes it easier to take a region with higher rank) people leveling low level jobs, 1-10. And unless your being PL'd, how much exp do you think you'd make?


But I can almost guarantee that the alliance who took her down would be a mix of all nations, and I really doubt it'd work that way. It'd also mean that whoever took Jorgamund or Tiamat would gain control of whichever region there were in. I really can't see any basis for this. And good luck taking her down, she might not be entirely strong by herself, but she spawns right with an army of undead that level 70-75's exp on, Hati, Sparatoi's and Lemures. Good luck, I know she's been killed before, but the failure rate on her is just an itty bit high. A tall order to fill for "just to take over a region".

Another thing is that it's easier for a nation to take control of a region that is being controlled by an opposing nation, especially if their in 1st. Windy is last, and I think Sandy is first, so if I exp in Ronfaure, I'd get more CP than a San d'Orian exping in Sarutabaruta.

Then there's the fact of asking all those people to quit leveling their mains all at one time, and just level some lvl 1 job just for fun. Most people don't care about supply quests, or which nation is first. They just wanna play the game. Also good luck convincing japanese players of doing that, if they even have any lvl 1 jobs left.


In all your best bet is to change nation to the one you want your home nation to beat, go get a level 1 job, run over to an outpost, set your HP and just die, alot. Within a few hours you can amass a hundred deaths which will cause a huge blow for that nations region points. Then you just gotta make sure your home nation beats out the beastmen. That and trading armor to the npc dudes.

Indeed you are correct, neither DVS nor I will be 'buying' people gear for the event; I apologize for any confusion.

There also will be no 'main' day of the attack. If you want to organize doing this as the same time as your friends then by all means. All that we ask is that you accomplish this next week at some time before saturday.

Also, I believe the impression you get from the conquest bars in Ronfaure is a bit off. I leveled paladin from 1-13 in West Ronfaure in two days. At the end of those two days I noticed the Windurst's conquest bar jumped about 1/9ish of the length of the bar. I could be off slightly as I didn't actually measure it but it was noticable increase. Therefore I believe it is entirely possible. However, it entirely depends upon how many people participate.


Also I love how I try to organize something positive and I get rated down for it. I ***** and whine at someone about something and I get rated up... I think the community of Allakhazam.com has their priorities a bit skewed from what they should be. |/laugh|
