I understand what you mean, everyone knows who the gil-sellers are at this point into the game. Even if the whole server knows that they ARE gil-seller SE still wants tangible proof, something that shows an actual "<insertname> is earning gil to sell to <insertname>." Some gil-sellers that were gone for months have resurfaced, probably reactivated the old account or probably bought by someone. Everyone also knows a vast majority, not all, of our server's gil-sellers are Chinese. Now SE would probably opt to just ban the player for a few weeks rather than have the player file a complaint of character/account deletion based on race being suspect to illegal activites within game.
I'm not a fan of their practices since its bascially an electronic sweat-shop but the game has other problems. Gil-sellers mimic AH prices, they don't set them, unless its an item they control like Amemet Skin. If they sell old equipment its priced how we priced it hence why they go after the big game stuff. They copy the standards we set, thankfully Shiva doesn't have armies of greedy players overpricing things. Equipment like Haubergeon is 2-3mil here, which is low compared to 8-9mil on some servers. With its stats it warrants a high price but millions is a bit high IMO, imagine if it was sold for its NPC sell back price? If I remember right Hauby is only worth 15K to the NPC. O_o
