Okay, I'm not really sure if I'm allowed to post this, but I'm in desperate need of help in FFXI. Currently I'm playing a level 20 White Mage with Black Mage as my sub, and suffice to say, I'm trying to get my hands on some Baron's gear. I've farmed for a very long time, and on the advice of my Linkshell, I bought all the items I need to craft the Baron's gear on account of it being cheaper than buying the genuine article. Unfortunately, it seems nigh on impossible for anyone to craft said Baron's gear, and, I'm having no luck finding anyone who'll be able to craft it for me. I was wondering if anyone who read these forums could help me out and craft it for me. (If you're wondering why I'm posting this here as opposed to in the crafting forums it's because, I need crafters from Shiva, that being my server n' all >.>)

Obviously I'll be willing to pay for your troubles.

He's looking for Barons gear, which is the HQ1 of the Traders set. At only 20+ levels above the cap, your chances of actually synthing Barons are slim at best. Based on commonly held crafting theories, you'll HQ about 10% of the time until you're 31+ over the recipe cap.

Also, the reason these are so expensive is they all have subcraft requirements, which make it even harder to HQ the pieces. I think between material costs and crafter fees, you'd probably be better off to just buy the armor from the AH.

Yeah >.> See, that's the problem, I rashly went off a bought all of the synth items, blowing all my gill. Umm, thanks for the offer though. I think I'll make one last stab at hunting people down in-game before I have a go at selling all the items at the AH (Hopefully I won't loose too much gill) and I can just farm up any slack.
