Aie, sorry to hear your problem, most people don't realize a mnk is a powerful DD or probably had a bad experiance with one.
My advice to you is to just create your own parties instead of waiting and why not try a Bones pt if there is one applicable around your lvl get to 70 and you'll get invites for one in KRT
which truly rocks now. Good luck with your parties.

yeah i try to invite monks as often as possible due to the fact that they usually put out great dmg. i think most mnks dont get invites at mid lvl is because you xp off crabs and i have yet to see a mnk that didnt suck fighting those.

i'm going thru the 50's and invites have been alright. i hit anywhere from 10-90 with crits .. and avg around 20-40 with rarly any misses.. ragining fists from 150-450 avg in the 200's .. every pt i've been in we have mowed over all the mobs.. i haven't seen a big diff in dmg from my mnk compared to the other DD jobs i've lvled with.. i think ppl just put up some myth that a job is weak and then the elitist's hear it and are like OMG MNK SUCK .. no one ever invite mnk... hmmmm well i see i hit more and harder than i did as my other job that i lvled up ... and also ppl don't see the DoT that mnk put out compared to other jobs ... wow sorry i'm rambling .. stoopid SE and their Maintence ;-; .. was in a kick *** pt .. we made close to 8k in an hr... 2xmnk pld rdm smn whm ... so if u think mnk sux mid lvls. to hell with you :D ....

As these guys have said, many people don't realize how much monks can contribute to a party. My boyfriend recently created a second character for himself and we set up a static party for his Monk - we got him from level 1 to 67 in the course of the summer. If you can put together a static that meets 2-3 times a week it will help you along much better than standing around seeking. Or start your own party~ hope ya do well, good luck!
