Why do you still play?Follow

I still play because I like helping people out. I really got exhausted from the leveling grind after taking DRK to 53, RDM to 58, only to switch to Paladin and take it to 75. I enjoy helping other obtain the gear they desire. I like fighting the NM's in sky and the Gods even more. I enjoy Dynamis although I really wish it would ofer alittle exp per kill. I like helping with the Paladin AF boots quest, have been soloing that pugil since 63 and have helped about 15 Paladins with it. I love doing fighting the Goldentounged Cuddleberry even though I rarely outrun his {death} casting.

I look to the future and look forward to killing the 3 kings, the big dragns, and seeing the Dynamis lord.

My firends are the biggest reason I stay though, all else in this game is fun, but without them I am not sure how fun anything would be. I see myself playing this game atleast 1 more year if not more.

So what keeps you playing FFXI and how much longer do you think you will be around?

I play becouse I have no life and the only social interactions I get are with people online.

i am addicted to it dammit. i cant walk away. i like a lot of jobs and hangin out with friends. Oh ya I am also a Fomor assassin. I cant stop killing them. More subligar whahahahaha

I play because I like bald hume monks.

Dunno why I'm still playing. I was playing because my boyfriend and friends played, but now... some friends are losing interest in playing, and my boyfriend isn't allowed to play anymore, heh.

Dunno why I still play really.. Been wanting to quit, but always finding myself back at my PS2 like I'll be doing after mowing the lawn and a shower today... Hmmmm, maybe get my WHM sub to 37 finally and take SMN to 75?

I always wonder at times why I play most of my true friends are long gone. I have a huge love & hate relationship with the game and almost feel like I have so much invested in time and energy into it but have no clue what I am really doing anymore. I hate xping in pickups, hate seeking parties but I still play. I still enjoy some of the challegnes we face in HOCD the day we win beat Dynamis X will be so sweet. Maybe the update will bring changes that won't suck I see so much potential but the grind is almost depressing.

The COP addition just isn't all that maybe if I reached sea it would be but just doesn't have the same feel as the drive to get to Sky did for me.

My first MMORPG is this one like a first love I guess hard to leave when it gets to be to much dealing with the drama queens in game. I play WOW I find it peaceful that I can solo make gold without issue an attempting insane feats is just fun. Not listening to biatching, moaning and crying can be a good thing.

But I always find myself logging back in FFXI very addictive kindna like my ex-girlfriend I can never seem to get rid of yeah maybe she will change. ROFLMAO!!!!!!!!

I play because I enjoy the game and I have lots yet to do.

I wish i had a troll, so i could rate em down. They contradict themselves, and really act a clown. I wish i had a troll, so i could kick its ***. I think i found a troll so now my time will pass.

i play because i want to take my thf to 75 so i can experiance the end-game joys. i want to yell and jump up and down and spam on my LS "OMG OMG I GOT IT!! I GOT IT!!! I GOT MY THIEFS KNIFE!! TAKE THAT YOU CRAPPY DROP RATE!!"
but i think the main reason i, as well as pretty much all of the FFXI community continue to play this game is because of the friends we have made here
and i, being from a military family, know what is like to move and leave friends behind, and i just am not ready to leave Shiva behind yet.
