The graphics on the new system look primo. I may have to just get one of them there xbox's. I was quite impressed. I hope blu isn't the only new job. Do any of your vid cards display the game that way? And if it does, let me know what u have, its time to upgrade the radeon 9200.

Ok so the highly anticipated Blue Mage which was in the lead in JP polls is going to be 1 of the new jobs. Rumors in Japan said 3 jobs, 1 mage, 1 tank, and 1 semi-DD. (O_o?)

All just rumors for now...well cept the Blue mage one.


Also about how to unlock these jobs as Bar asked, it would seem logical to have these jobs in CoP areas but most players haven't started or finished them yet, well cept for the higher echelon of the Shiva server. If it does hold true theres going to be a mad rush to finish CoP, which is good but bad for people looking for pts/pt memebers ><

About the Blue mage, I know its early but just wondering what kind of 2hr it will have.

I'm probably going to be one of the few people who buys the expansionpack and won't unlock any of the new jobs unless they make useful subs. As much as I'd enjoy the idea of being a Blue Mage, I don't feel like being LFG for 2 hours along with the other 50+ people who are also leveling Blue Mage at the time.

I doubt i will actually lvl it past 10-15, but i will damn sure give it a try. Honestly, no harm in messing around with it a little, and who knows, might be the next kick *** sub for WAR (probably not, but you never know).

Im most excited, to have some new content, new jobs, and new players. This kind of relights the flame for FFXI, meaning i dont have to worry about it dieing off before im ready to quit (probably wouldnt hyave happened anyways). I always love new areas, and new stuff to figure out.

I might be one of those that decide to try it as soon as I can unlock it. Depending on what stats it has it might not be a bad combo for BST.

I wonder how they're going to do it. Pet based attacks are usually based on them hitting 100 TP. Does that mean a blue mages spells are going to be based on TP?

Do we emulate a type of mob or do we get to select what powers we're going to use?

I'm really looking forward to seeing what can be done with this job.

I have to confess...

I will be one of the 300 Hundered Blue mages running around South Gustaberg after the expansion.

What can I say, I like new things in this game...
