and how can one incident forever label a person as an *******? this just might have been a bad day for him or whatever (and no, i do not feel his actions were "correct"). i do agree with the first reply, that this should have been taken up with him privately instead of taken public

Ayaz, you cut in front of hundreds of people who had been waiting in line for hours when the NPC quest first came out. One of those people was my gf. Should I have created a thread "inform[ing] everyone that there is a complete jackass in our midst?"

Ah touche. But to be fair, I don't believe it was specifically an anti-ayaz thread. I could be wrong, but I thought the thread was centered around people who broke the player-defined "rules of etiquite" for the event. The difference here is that the thread is against one individual player, rather than the actions of a set of players (ie line-skippers).

I already went 1 vs 1 against him and went /sam. When I went up against him I instantly Killed him with Asuran fist. :) But he was a pain kept binding and sleeping me.

As co-founder and leader of DVS and DVSIII let me say a few things, so anyone who cares (which given the overwhelming brevity of this situation should be no one) can get my views on it straight form the source. One of the things I believe strongly in is being a positive member of the FFXI community. That intails treating others with respect, helping others when you can and when appropriate, and hopefully helping everyone around me become better players and better people. I bear no ill will toward Kramer, WASP, or any other LS in the game. When we come in contact with them I do my best to keep things civil. But every large family has all types of people, and some will be outspoken and quick on the trigger.

Do i agree with what Bob did? No. Would I have done things differently? Yes. Should you ever condemn an entire group of people over the actions of one? Of course not. I'm not sure if his outburst was in any way a product what happened to him when he was in WASP, the result of general friction some of our members feel toward each other, or something personal between the two of you. Its really not my business either. I dont pretend to micro-manage every single person who wears our colors. I dont base any decisions on something that happens in tells. And im frankly not sure something happening on a third-party forum, incuding yours and this one, is within my juristiction. I can ask people to stop and play nice, sure, but if i trolled the net looking for people mouthing off at one another and slapping them on the wrist i would never be able to play myself.

If anyone is bothered by this in the Shiva community feel free to contact me in-game at Miriel or possibly as Toonces, as any response here i will likely not read. I read this maybe once a month, and find it to be mostly idle gossip and personal bashing.

While Im here, thank you to everyone who said nice things about me in a previous thread, but i doubt there is any leader of a large LS who even pretends to do it alone. Any success or praise i may receive as the shmuck who spent 8k on a shell many moons ago is doubly deserved to those friends who have helped me along the way. How about someone start a thread about the best leaders on Shiva who arent LS leaders, as they are the ones who deserve the credit, not us figureheads. Ill start the list with Jae.

And I'l say i got nothing aginst an LS on this Game. seeing as Fem is a good friend of mine and in a rival HNM/SKY LS and i'd do anything to help her out.
