ffxi just takes too much damn time that it becomes tedious.

wow is easy on my nerves ^^.

And the more I think about it, the more I realize that while this is just my opinion...I'm glad I made the change now. Not everyone is in my Shoes...and FFXI definately caters to a "way of life" that might suit another player just fine. But being newly married, and starting a family...it's nice to have a MMO game that I enjoy, that I can turn off and on as I please...and always enjoy it. I can progress with as little or as much time I put into it. I don't have to worry about strict regiments for earning Exp. I don't have to listen to the griping of Dynamis coordination and Sky/Sea blah blah blah anymore. I don't have to be condemned to the Blm job that earns nothing but a needed presence at end-game events. I can just -enjoy- myself. Blizzard did it right, and they earned themselves another hardcore customer by doing so. And to top it off...I've played all the other Warcraft games and have always been a fan of the lore (like I was with Final Fantasy games)...so it's nice to be familiar with it too.

SE designed FFXI to be party oriented and to be a timesink, I was one of the moron's that bought the CoP expansion only to find that I could not access alot of the zones without doing the missions. Why would I buy an expansion that doesn't allow me to access zones that I paid for right out of the box!! You mean I have to spend another month (if not more) completing these horrible missions and have to have the optimal party setup to boot!!! F-off Square Enix..........
