Hmmm, I never really had a problem with JP. Most I talk to always respond kindly, and actually sit and try to chat..

Outside chatting, in parties, either it be camping by them, or in party with, they are always respectable..

The main thing I found, as mentioned, is you have to ask/say before you act. When I camp by any JP, I ask them if it's ok to camp there, 99% of the time, they say sure, and we help during links, or anything, if something goes wrong.

HNM's, well, never did any against JP's, lol. Serket they stood back and didn't crowd at least.

So yeah, my main advice would be to ask before you act.

Gil-sellers... Well, we all know how this is. Superstars are not awesome people. Tell that to them when they tried to MPK UC, and me, the first time I ever camped Serket.

In Kuftal, man, do they ever love MPK'ing with lizards.

Work with them, they love you. Against them, they hate you.

JP MPK'ing.. Who, is it possible they'd do such a thing? Yes.. Shikigami Weapon.. We won claim, when I was in Avatar, and JP's loaded us with weapons. Their level 60's died right in front to aggro us.. How/why would you try to MPK all SMN's? I dunno.. Sneak and carby.. Can't go wrong there. End result: Many dead JP's, and a new YY for a member of Avatar..

Just my experiences. Guess anyone can do anything here. Hard to trust anyone at all..

Will I stop by and help you if you're in trouble? Sure, just don't try to be my best friend afterwards, lol.

I love helping, and I ask for help sometimes, but it's hard to depend on much anyone outside your friend list/LS these days. Just play it smart and safe. ^^

I never had any problems with gilsellers
I will note that "the incident" that happened to me back in the summer left me broke all my expensive gear gone and practically gilless after months of farming and camping. One of the gards found out and when I was teleporting them she gave me 200 thousand gil to help get me back on my feet.

Then I'll do it for you!

So you got gil to get back on your feet? So were you doing on your knees to begin with? Earning the 200k?

Yes I know it's so very wrong, but it had to be said.

I believe them helping was a good idea. Even if some of the jps thought that the na's were bad, maybe some like the whm in his/her mind thought about that and relized that not all are bad. You just know the fact of what happened then and I'm guessing the whole party/alliance didn't /tell you and not everyone necisarily felt that way. And even if you didn't get credit for helping them out you still helped em out which is a good deed and we need more people who will do stuff like that in this game.

Your experiences with gil sellers differ depending on which team you'll find. The superstars and gards are more nonchalant, much like xifan, windboy and that crew. They've camped amemet, phantom worm, sea grotto NM's and are relatively nice people in general to other players.

But don't camp against them, their sudden soft hearts, turn bitter and were known to mpk many times(now almost impossible).

If you've ever camped HNM's for money, you've met the not-so-friendly team of gil sellers. Revol, Fieldo, Caniod, Bluemg, Cosmosbaby, Karena, etc. They've got quite a team now, and were consistent in attempts to mpk, steal claim, cfh mobs and bind on your pt. Many times ruining any chance you had to claim+kill in time before SSJ mode. I'm sure most of you have witnessed a crazy serket death camp in the past couple months.

So are they bad? Depends, if you want to make any gil competeing with them, they sure have a mean spirit and will do everything in their power to steal hnm claim if they can.

Edit: On a side note, I find it ironic agirlyman was taking a break because of inflation, yet Agirlyman and Agirlyqueen have both sold O-kotes for 11-12mil a piece. Congrats man, you're a gigantic hypocrite.

the prices will never drop. the reason? only a small amount of people want them to, and an even smaller amount have tried. the only way for the prices to go down is if everyone who is not a gil seller or just a greedy basterd stops raising prices and starts lowering them, witch will never happen beacuse the loss would be alot. and like i said its not just the gil sellers. altho they did start this whole thing, the people who are to blame are the lazy people who bought the gil/items from them. and JP are not all bad like someone said, just alot of them seem to not like NA verry much >.>

Congrats, Shao, that was a great thing to do. And, to be honest, I agree. The gilsellers are not the real problem in the game, nor are the gilbuyers.

Not to mention, I really hate to say it, but if everyone hates gilsellers so much, why are they supported so much? If you want to stop it, it's simple. Stop buying the big ticket items that they monopolize.

Now, I see a lot of people saying that most of the Japanese are ********, and so on and so forth. That's ridiculous. The real problem is that most of the PLAYERS are ********. I've been screwed over by North Americans just as many times, if not more, than by Japanese players.

Example - I'm in an EXP party in Gustav Tunnel, about level 55-56. We're by the area where Wyvernpoacher spawns. Well, about halfway through the party, this LS (Wasp, I believe.) comes and fights that skeleton NM whose name escapes me. Well, they wipe. Now, self-preservation kicks in. A bunch of 75s just wiped. There's no way we can even come near this thing. Luckily, it takes off towards the zone, chasing their one remaining member, a BLM.

I asked if they had a WHM. They said no. I asked if RB2 was good enough. They said yes. So I RB2ed the lot of them. They left, and I assume went back to camping Bune.

Wyvernpoacher spawns, and our party begins to talk. We're thinking of pulling him, even though we're almost certain to die. What the hell, it'll be fun, right? We're making preparations when the LS runs back. Our ninja moves faster, though, and snags the NM.

Anyhow, they're watching us fight, and not helping. That's fine with me. They said not to call for help, and we assured them that we wouldn't. Anyhow, we got it to about 40% life, when our ninja got caught with no shadows. Goblin Rush. Splat. It didn't take long for the rest of us to go down. They finish the NM. My Reraise had worn seconds before I died, so I asked in a /tell if I could get an RB1 from the BLM so I could RB2 my party.

They walked away.

Unfortunately, people truly don't give a damn anymore.
